I listened very carefully today with FR folks in mind. Never did he say any thing negative about either candidate.
Rush is an observer. He observes and reports. His report includes a finding of what he observed and some analysis of the observations.
He repeatedly says that he does not ever endorse a candidate. The fact he reports either positive negative observations must be taken as his observation but not as a favorable or unfavorable personal thought to be construed as endorsement or lack of endorsement.
Today he took great pains to note that he found the statements of many condemning Trump for his actions and words regarding the disruptors. He did not call cruz or Rubio by name but they were implied in the group
I think there are many small minds here that can not grasp the concept of observing and reporting. Any positive or negative word for any candidate is taken as a personal affront by those so wrapped up personally in the campaign their reason is totally gone.
There is an if you are not all in for us and us alone, you are the enemy. Rush becomes the enemy because he tries to be objective
This very post will be taken personally by the zealots of both sides and bert will be damned to hell. but that is just normal FR frenzy

Tempers are white hot (mine included) right now.
But I never underestimate Rush. He really is wise, wiser than he seems just because, as he says, he makes it look easy.
