I think very few REAL Cruz supporters switched to Trump over this. Most of us agreed with him over the tone of Trump’s campaign.

The cuck canuck loves pastel tones, not bold colors.

Cowards. Doesn’t surprise anyone. Just pat yourself on the back while the rest of us actually fight for the country.

The article has a direct qote from Cruz:

““I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment, when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence — to punch people in the face. The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates and today is unlikely to be the last such instance. We earlier today in St. Louis over thirty arrested. That’s not how our politics should occur,” Cruz said Friday. “You know, the City of Chicago in 1968 saw some ugly days when politics descended into hatred and incivility and even violence and it is my hope that in 2016 that we can appeal to our better angels and avoid going down that road once again.” “

I an very very disappointed that Ted didn’t defend Donald Trump’s First Amendment rights. That was HIS meeting and he had every right to defend HIS crowd against these well organized Soros thugs, no matter what he said! Time to quit being nice, guys!

You haven't seen my FB page. People I know who posted pro-Cruz messages have now gone for Trump. I was amazed. People said they realize he is just another politician.

You are correct. I’m not about to switch to Andrew Dice Clay over Cruz.

I don't know what you think a real Cruz supporter is, but I made several donations to his campaign over the last several months and, until Friday, intended to vote for him in the primary.

I too have had issues with Trump's rhetoric from time to time. But Friday was a day to send a single message of condemnation of the left's attempt to silence the right. Cruz did not see that and could not resist piling on.

In my view, he failed the test of leadership during a very critical and difficult time. And, with some regret, it cost him at least one vote.
