Cruz didn’t side with them he condemned them He merely pointed out that trumps level of rhetoric does not help the situation which by the way is a true statement
He blamed the victim

Rememmories of the Safari Principle, re George Zimmerman/Travon. Ie You must stay in the car when wild animals roam the area. Step outside the car, and you are likely to be killed. Your fault for exiting the car. Not their fault. You asked for it.
Sorta like the Cruz Principle. You say something the mob doesn’t like. You get hurt. Your fault.
Oh my, GOP eeeeee. Desperation is so unbecoming.
Shoulda, coulda done a better job. Mask...Ted Bush...slipped.
I don’t agree with you on that. The behavior of the protesters required an unequivocal rejection. Nothing justifies their behavior. Cruz trivialized the situation, made excuses for it. He showed a weak inner core. He lost my support over this. He was my second choice not now.
Facts have no place here. Trumpeters will believe what The Donalds spinmasters tell them to...
Facts do not matter when you're dealing with crowd mentality.
Only compete allegiance to Trump is acceptable - anyone who may support any other viewpoint is not tolerated. End of discussion.
Quotes to prove your assertion please.
I agree with you. Small minority opinion we have, here.
I didn’t see/hear all this fuss when the “O” was spouting a whole lot worse.
Not really. Cruz said:
"And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively promotes violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this type of discord"
But there is no truth to the allegations about physical violence against members of the press. The first instance where the media alleged a reporter was knocked down turned out to be a situation where a Secret Service agent pushed a reported after the reporter tried to grab the agent by the throat.
The second, since according to Sen. Cruz there had to be more than one "allegation" is probably the allegation by a reporter that she was manhandled and thrown to the ground by Corey Lowandowski, one of Trump's campaign staff.
I suggest you watch this video and see if Ms. Fields, the woman wearing glasses, is "thrown to the ground".
Cruz's other accusations are equally off base. Only Trump has to contend with organized left-wing protesters trying to disrupt his rallies, and as we saw in Chicago, fight with law enforcement officers.
Trump does not promote the instigation of violence, that's what the protesters do. And most of the "violence" occurs when police officers and Secret Service agents evict disruptive protesters.
He said that Trump was responsible for it.
