Ted Cruz Loses Law Enforcement After Siding With Bill Ayers, Violent Mobs Beating Cops in Chicago
thegatewaypundit.com ^ | March 13

Posted on 03/13/2016 8:14:41 AM PDT by Helicondelta

On Friday night the Trump campaign called off their Chicago rally due to security threats. Leftist protesters cheered, beat Trump supporters, block an ambulance to the local hospital and screamed profanities at families staying at the Trump Hotel.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich sided with Bill Ayers, Black Lives Matter, Communists and violent far left protesters.

The anti-Trump protesters blocked ambulances and screamed at emergency workers, “F*ck you! F*ck you! Back up and go around!”

The anti-Trump mob beat police officers outside the arena.

On Saturday Ted Cruz lost support of prominent conservatives.

Ted Cruz also lost support of law enforcement.

I belong to LE groups on social and real world. About 50k members total. More than scientific sample. Cruz has lost the cops. #TrumpProtest

And unfortunately, @tedcruz ignored their chants of "f'k the police!" and their stomping on American flags. https://t.co/WEJqKtbWm3

Cruz: when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press,

This is classic Cruz. Dump the whole bucket of slime on his opponent at the first opportunity. Disgusting to see Cruzies here defend him and his false allegations.

“Trumps call too for violence is not befitting of a President let alone a CEO.”

When has he called for violence? He has called a few times for people to respond to acts of violence.

And that demented fool who rushed him yesterday. You really think he was upset at Trump’s language?

“Cruz took sides when he attacked Trump.”

Agreed. Ted Cruz is the only candidate I have supported financially, and have been advocating his candidacy in Ohio since Spring 2015.

Until yesterday, I had planned to vote for Cruz in Tuesday’s Ohio primary.

That vote will now go to Trump.

If you defend this, what won’t you defend? I am done defending Cruz. Period.

Sadly, some Cruz supporters have taken this attitude toward all of the negative news that's coming out about their candidate:

As someone once told me, your right to wave your angry fist in the air ends at the tip of my nose. Free speech is one thing. Overt violence is another.

“F*ck you! F*ck you! Back up and go around!” they day?

If I were Police, Fire, or EMS I would do a really good Daniel Simpson Day impersonation and yell “Ramming speed!” out the window while stomping on the gas..... I bet the thugs will get out of the way. :D

Then he blamed Trump, second half of the sentence. He is a lawyer.

Excellent post. I noted some time ago here that Trump says “we” and Cruz says “I”.

By overlooking who is really responsible and blaming Trump Cruz very much incites more attacks on law abiding Trump supporters and Trump himself. By parroting the ridiculous leftist and media assertions that Trump is responsible Cruz appears to be nothing more than a crass political hack. I say this a man who wholeheartedly supported Cruz with time and money. Yesterday I goo be goned the Cruz sticker from my car. When these thugs silence Trump and come for Cruz will your opinion change?
The left and GOP can't stop Trump politically and have basically put a bounty out on him. How will you feel if Cruz's abandonment of the first amendment plays a part in getting Donald Trump assassinated?

Rememmories of the “Safari Principle”, re George Zimmerman/Travon. Ie You must stay in the car when wild animals roam the area. Step outside the car, and you are likely to be killed. Your fault for exiting the car. Not their fault. You asked for it.

Sorta like the “Cruz Principle”. You say something the mob doesn’t like. You get hurt. Your fault.

Oh my, GOP eeeeee. Desperation is so unbecoming.
Shoulda, coulda done a better job. Mask...Ted Bush...slipped.

I had the same “come to Trump” moment you had when I saw Cruz abandoning 25,001 people's first amendment rights Friday night. Unfortunately I've already cast my primary vote for Cruz here in Kentucky. No harm, no foul on that mistake.

I don’t agree with you on that. The behavior of the protesters required an unequivocal rejection. Nothing justifies their behavior. Cruz trivialized the situation, made excuses for it. He showed a weak inner core. He lost my support over this. He was my second choice not now.

“Long, anguished pauses...”

He considers himself being presidential. I am sure he envisions himself walking up to a podium as president, with a battery of microphones in front of him, as numerous members of the press nervously hold out their recorders before his greatness, TV cameras crowd the remaining space, and the world waits with bated breath for each tidbit of grandiose truth he utters after nobly and patiently cogitating each sentence in his brilliant mind. One sentence per ten seconds. Can’t give the great unwashed too much.

They all look like they are taking cues and using talking points from the GOPe.

When issues out West were on the table, Cruz distanced himself from the protest in Oregon with one of his supporters calling him a ‘law and order type of guy’.

On Chicago, I feel like I’m getting a different message from Ted.
