I need to see that video! One of my favorite GWB moments was when he reached through Chilean security to retrieve one of his own security personnel.

+++++++

I was not impressed with the president but I was mightily impressed by the man.

Here ya go. GWB at 2004 APEC dinner in Santiago, Chile.

Please see also 'Da Shawinigan Handshake' (from approx. 30 seconds into this video).

Background: On Flag Day 1996, Canadian PM Jean Chretien walked into a crowd in Hull, QU, ahead of his security detail, and was accosted by several protesters. He gave one of the protesters the 'Shawinigan handshake', pushing the turd to the ground.

Not a big fan of Lieberals or Cretin, but I appreciate that he knocked one turd to the ground and pushed the megaphone, held to his face by another protester, away. I would have preferred that he would have pushed it back INTO the protester's face, perhaps breaking a few teeth of the protester. The Mounties claimed that there was no breach of security, but I think that is a lie. No one unvetted, should get that close to a leader, even one such as Cretin. The 'Shawinigan Handshake' is about the only thing that I have respect for, of Cretin's actions.
