As far as I’m concerned, if it isn’t on video with sound that conclusively shows the person she claims ‘abusing’ her, then IT JUST DID NOT HAPPEN.
Frankly, no matter from what side or political persuasion, if he/she is a journalist, you cannot believe a word they say, nor the word of another ‘journalist’ in proximity.

So my question is: Why did she proceed with filing a complaint naming Lewandowski as the perpetrator, when we all (including Michelle Fields) know she’s wrong about him being the one who grabbed her?

Cory Lewandowski is a Trump campaign manager, not a member of the Secret Service. He may or may not have harshly pulled Michelle Fields (an avowed Trump supporter) out of the way. The tape is inconclusive.
The Wapo reporter who identified Cory might have lied or been mistaken. He likely wanted to fit the story to the MSM narrative. Someone else may have pulled her, leaving bruises. It was rude and unchivalrous.

My personal opinion is that they were created by makeup. A Trump supporter online replicated them with her makeup, and blamed it, in jest, on Cruz supporters.
