I’m glad I wasn’t there. If a bunch of thugs started pounding on my car I would have taken my pistol from my glove box and showed it to them. A few seconds later I would have fired a few shots in the air. Another few seconds later I would have been taking aim.

As UIC is a state facility, I am not sure a person could have a firearm in their vehicle...even in the parking garage.
