Since it is more and more clear that the GOP Presidential Primary race is evolving into a two man race, with Donald Trump leading and Ted Cruz attempting to challenge that lead, I though I would post a chart of the various people supporting both candidates.
This is not, by any means and exhaustive list...but it is a list of some of the better known people endorsing them.
I think it is an interesting comparison. well know people on both sides with strong records and histories behind them in their various areas.
Irrespective of whom you support, it is clear that:
I have said it many times and will say it again. My own 1st choice is Ted Cruz, but I will support Donald Trump 100% is he is the nominee.
I hope that others, who are choosing Donald Trump first, will do the same should he not win (which quite frankly is less and less likely, particularly if Donald Trump wins both Florida and Ohio).
Here's the chart:
I think Julie-Annie endorsed Trump too.
Great post.
Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner endorsed Cruz. Didn’t see “shim” on the list.
Thanks for posting this.
Blasted Kruiser for lying about his endorsement.
Ted does haveBecK and Bush. Can't take that away from him.
Any list that has Dennis Rodman on it isn’t a serious list.
Most endorsements don’t mean shite.
Let’s look at a couple very recent worthy endorsements.
Carly Fiorina endorses Cruz. News buzz for ONE day and then Cruz gets TRUMPED by the Carson endorsement.
Let me weigh those two.... Fiorina, Carson. Fiorina, Carson. Fiorina, Carson.
And the winner is....... CARSON by a mile. It’s like the Fiorina endorsement never happened and certainly doesn’t matter anymore.
Trump is a political GENIUS! A media manipulating Genius. Cruz is just out of his league.
Meanwhile Cruz, trying to sway Trump voters over to his side, c’mon over, join us... you “LOW INFORMATION VOTERS” (with little hands, (sarc)). What a political genius.
There is only ONE front runner, and has been that way for a very long time.
“There can be only one” (Highlander)
GO TRUMP!
I thought Rubio actually did a good job - he is a good talker but his record shows that he can't even show up for work so who cares what he says?
Meanwhile, Trump really isn't a good debater...why would he be? He's a doer and his record is phenomenal. No contest.
TRUMP!
Cruz didn't say that Norris endorsed him. It would be a "lie" to say that he did.
But I don't know why you bother.
It looks like “Duck Dynasty” isn’t taking any chances ;)
I simply made an observation about the mix of endorsements each candidate had.
Best of all, neither one is endorsed by MSNBC, CBS, ABC, Washington Post, PBS, NBC, New York Times or other Communist cheer leaders.
Thanks. It shows Cruz mainly has politicians where as Trump has supporters from all across the board.
The DC establishment has become the enemy in my mind. Yes, we had problems after Clinton and then the NINJA loans did not help the fragile housing/mortgage crisis that we know was mainly caused by the CRA. After the bailouts they went right back to making crazy loans. Fannie and Freddie should have been shut down. The civil service types are not going to clean up their act, and; we have seen the VA do zip just as nothing has been done about the IRS. The list goes on as you folks know. I wanted to believe that if we gave the party the Senate they would at least stand up to wrong. They did not. They even passed fast track giving away the well established right of the Senate and House to approve, change or totally reject trade deals etc. I see this last minute attempt by Rubio telling his few in Ohio to vote for Kasich as a terrible example of collusion in the party. I am against the party’s candidates for the first time. Sadly, I was not that excited about either MacLame or Romney. I will not state what I think of Romney now.
Better add Rush to the Cruz list. He was openly frustrated with a caller who was critical of Cruz especially because she was a Doctor’s wife and should know better.
RE: Here’s the chart:
Where is it?
What are you talking about?
This thread is about endorsements that the two men currently have...not about who is choosing who for VP.
That will come later.
On another thread, I believe it was a Cruz/Bush campaign supporter implied Phyllis Schafly is senile or suffering from dementia, and that was the reason she endorsed Trump.
Very classy stuff.
What amuses me is while Cruz goes all dramatic and condemns Trump's position on trade and tariffs, Cruz's own recent proposal which he copied from Trump claims a 16% reduction in corporate taxes along with a 16% tariff on imports which he calls a tax as well...Apparently no one picks up on that...
Before Cruz flip flopped his claim was that our unfair trade policies were good for American business and workers...
