A little over two years after Obama campaign bundler and LGBT advocate James “Wally” Brewster arrived in the Dominican Republic, accompanied by his spouse, Bob Satawake, to assume his duties as U.S. ambassador, calls are growing in the conservative country for his recall.
Church leaders, politicians and education officials in the Caribbean island nation are clamoring for his removal, and a petition was lodged with the White House this week accusing him of promoting an “LGBT agenda inconsistent with the Christian cultural values and tradition of the Dominican Republic.”
Brewster was not the first openly gay man appointed as a U.S. ambassador — President Obama nominated no fewer than five in 2013 alone. But while others were accredited to Western countries with liberal views on homosexuality, he was named envoy to a developing nation, 95 percent of whose 10 million people are Roman Catholic. …

I’ve never understood why the Obama foreign policy is to shove homosexuality down the throats of the world. Considering how much of the world views homosexuality, it hardly seems smart to put this issue front and center, to nations which do not have westernized liberal views of this subject.

A developing country comprised of blacks and Latinos is offended by a gay ambassador. Place your bets on whether minorities or gays are higher in the PC pecking order in the Obama Administration. My bet is that if push comes to shove, the gay will lose.

Presidents usually give the good places like France, UK, Japan etc, to their donors as rewards. The third world hell-holes are given to career diplomats. Stephens was a career diplomat, and gay.....................

Well it wouldn’t be much of a poke in the eye to send sodomite ambassadors to places like France or the UK either. They’re already completely on board with the sodomite agenda.
I have always wondered how Muslim nations, and some others with discriminatory policies toward women, receive female secretaries of state or female ambassadors. Does a leader of a Middle Eastern country take negotiations with a woman seriously? Do they find it offensive?
