They're is no 'we' here. The ones of us who have been objecting have been consistently ridiculed and vilified, so don't go trying to legitimatize Cruz by default.
Some FReepers insist on believing government has the ability to decide an eligibility question that is based on Natural rights, but you can't negate original Constitutional intent by ignoring it.

When Cruz filed, I was one of a few FReepers who argued against his eligibility. Many on this forum, including Jim Robinson, argued in his favor. Ultimately, I acquiesced to Cruz’s eligibility simply because the electorate, in their zeal to elect a mulatto with a Muslim name - a magic negro - lowered the standard.
To this day, I say that even Angela Merkel could qualify for POTUS if she won the plurality of the popular vote. SCOTUS has indicated that they would not overturn a proper election for any reason.
This is a Constitutional crisis we never addressed for fear of being called “rayciss”.
