Honestly FReepers, please pay attention to this. Encryption is, at this point, what separates us from them. If they give the keys to government, they’re giving them to criminals too, but I repeat myself. Seriously, this is “last stand” material here. If we’re not allowed to have unbreakable encryption, that means that nothing we do in our digital lives is safe. Please, please educate yourselves on this movement. It’s VERY dangerous territory we’re in.

Agreed...Liberty is being lost, but people are so invested in the primary campaign they are not paying attention.

BUMP

Not so.

One can have a device-based key, so you would need the device itself.

Or you could have a two-part key, one part with the manufacturer and another part with the NSA.

Or you could have a three-part key, one part with the manufacturer and another part with the FBI and a third part with the NSA.

If you truly believe that any encryption you can buy in the public square is 100% secure.. well let’s us just say that is special.

Remember, not that long ago, all the celebrities that got their nude selfies splashed all over the internet? The FBI can, and has, gotten into that phone. This is a much different game being played.
