In the current tussle for the future of Germany, Frauke Petry is what you might call the anti-Angela Merkel.
Where Ms. Merkel, the chancellor, has welcomed refugees, Ms. Petry, a rising far-right leader, has said border guards might need to turn guns on anyone crossing a frontier illegally.

“Embrace”? More like “flooding”
The Donald Trump of Germany, arisen for the same reason as ours.
“Far right” as defined by the far left who have redefined the left as center.
Kick her out along with her buddies the savages.
Merkel is smart. Perhaps this was her plan all along. Give the German a harsh medicine in a last ditch effort to save the patient.
Yes, notice the Times describes Merkel’s party as “conservative.” Something like our “conservatives” in Congress, I guess. Of course the word “Nazi” must be used somewhere as well.
Meh. Probably.
These are leaders clearly taking orders from the hand of satan himself.
We could have been oil independent decades ago, but that wouldn't have enabled his army to build in strength.
This is not just a physical struggle. This is an ancient enemy intent on the destruction of mankind!

However, if a Muslim refugee rapes a local woman dressed normally (not in a tent) and minding her own business, then it is her fault for dressing provocatively. Got it?
I live in Germany....so I’ll address three observations over this.
1. The whole immigrant, asylum seeker, and refugee crisis....was this barn-door open deal where no one at the top level of the government could contemplate what was going on, or to what extent, or determine a cost factor in terms of tax funds required, or grasp how disenchanted the public was as each month went by.
2. The state-run news media (funded by the TV tax mandated on everyone) gets a fair dose of positive immigrant slant, and have been getting this for three years now. The public....I’d guess....around sixty-percent now...don’t believe the story anymore and at least thirty-percent question how this can ever be solved/fixed.
3. Any time that a German journalist, political figure or intellectual utters “far-right”, xenophobic, or racist...it’s all key-words that’s supposed to click in your mind and act as a reset button to your political motivation. The problem is...that the anti-immigrant crowd made up two new words on their own: “gutter-Deutscher” (meaning a naive German who can’t live in reality), and “luegenpresse” (meaning a journalist or news group who can’t do much but lie).
I should note there’s another invented word, used by German teens to a great degree now...Merkeln. It means to be in a leadership role, but make no decisions and issue no statements. Kids apply this to school directors, professional political figures, and anyone of authority.
Yeah, if you were looking for a loss of respect over authority, we’ve reached that point in Germany.
The definition of “right wing” is someone who doesn’t want to throw the gates open to several million arabs.
Immigration policy should always serve the interests of citizens.
Immigration should be limited to people who (in the case of Germany) admire German society and want to be Germans. And have something to offer to Germany. And should be limited to numbers that can be successfully integrated and assimilated.
Frauke Petry has the tone of a university professor or a cautious bureaucrat.
And the NY Times screams about the “Rise of a Far-Right Leader” and implies she’s whipping crowds into a frenzy. Lord, they are so transparent with the bias.

Don’t blame the “Far Right.” Blame Merkel and her cowardly legislators who invited hordes of Muslim fighting men into their country to rape and pillage. The “Far Right” is fighting for the survival of Germany, while Merkel has decided Germany should submit to Islam. What a disgrace this woman is! Germans ought to consider the Nicolae Ceausescu solution employed by the Romanians.
