If you're negotiating....you have to listen to both sides...or what's the sense at sitting down at the table at all.

I explained to someone previously that Cruz’ position leads nowhere but war.
Now, there is an argument to made for that position, but that is the reality.
It is either
A. continuation of the ongoing proxy war, or
B. an all out war of attrition
With Ted’s position there is little if any room for peace.
Not a question of if, but when, and by whom.
