I guess I have mixed feelings about a contested convention. I get that if one of the candidates does not have a lock on the required delegates then they have to do something else. It's the way conventions used to be in the 19th and early 20th century. But if the GOPe tries to thwart the will of the people who voted in the primaries and pull some loser like Romney out of their asses as a "compromise candidate, I'm afraid for me it will be "no sale".

We're all going to have to accept the fact that the GOPe would rather lose to Hillary than win with Trump.

Which is why we need to insistent that the candidate with the most delegates gets the nom. THAT is the best deal the base is ever going to get in 2016. Once the GOPe starts brokering we are you know what.

I think the foumulation is "We're all going to have to accept the fact that the GOPe would rather lose to Hillary than win." Period.

Jeb was a designated loser. The GOP is livid that it might win. It is supposed to LOSE, while appearing to fight. Trump is setting back the plans by a generation or maybe three generations.

That simple sentence speaks volumes.
