I'll answer your question anyway: Yes, Cruz is still an outsider. It's only because Trump is such a horrible choice that Cruz is getting any establishment support at all.
Is the GOPe trying to "use" him to stop Trump? Sure. But I'm fine with them accepting Cruz as the lesser evil. Because, Trump is certainly the greater evil.
so as long as anyone who hates Trump gets your vote and that is the establishment so you would sell yourself out like Cruz to be in bed with the establishment.
