Yeah Cruz who wrote and op-ed with Paul Ryan urging Congress to pass TPA/TPP suddenly claiming McConnell tricked him into voting for TPA/TPP does not pass the smell test. Did McConnell also “trick” Cruz into writing that op-ed? Cruz is a liar.
Even worse the genius went on to say that he was “tricked” into voting for it. I don’t see the genius that others see. I see someone who saw the winds shift and ran for cover.
Cruz didn't vote for TPA. He voted against it. He never claimed that McConnell tricked him into voting against it.
