Can we please stop using the p.c. term 'African-American' to describe American blacks?

The only real 'African-American' that comes to mind immediately is Theresa Heinz-Kerry, who was born in Mozambique.

I pipe up every time I see somebody use that term here. When negroes demand that I use a ridiculous, magisterial-sounding, royal title of seven syllables to identify them, I don’t go along. Maybe when they start calling me “European American” (EIGHT syllables—I win), I’ll think about it.
