After a knockout victory in Mississippi and what appears to be at least a TKO in Michigan, Donald Trump took to the stage in Jupiter, Florida for his latest victory speech. Keeping with his new habit, he treated it as a press conference again, delivering remarks followed by questions from the press. (Strategically stationed behind some of his cheering supporters.) Before he even showed up, though, you could tell that everyone was in for a particularly luxurious event by the display on the flag draped stage. Check it out.
Yep, thats Trump Champagne, cases of Trump vodka, flats of Trump water and a pile of Grade A Trump Steaks. (A careful examination by the press indicated that the steaks were mysteriously labeled Bush Brothers. They also sell steaks in the area.) It was a well attended soiree.
As youll see, Trumps speech starts out with another bid for reconcilliation, talking about how he hopes that the party will embrace his victories and focus on the long game. He even gets in some some nice words about Speaker Paul Ryan. After that, though, he cant resist a few digs at Little Marco and Lying Ted Cruz along with any others who have wronged him.
Theres nothing much more for it but to get to the video. Credit where credit is due, despite all the negative ads and social media bombardment, Trumps people delivered a couple more big wins for him and its difficult to argue that his momentum has stalled.
Good thread Kaslin ...thanks for posting
It was very good. 32K watching the live stream.

THE PLANE, THE PLANE!
Agreed. Thanks for posting Kaslin.
Upholstered, no doubt, with Two Corinthian Leather...
Someone I read or heard suggested that Trump had to say he wanted to go one on one with Cruz in the debates so as to not appear to be afraid of him. Also, by urging Rubio to get out he pretty much guarantees he will stay in. So it was a no lose suggestion for Trump.
My feeling is that Cruz would be a much better president. But whether it is Cruz or Trump it is the way the people have of giving Obama the middle finger. Afterall, he has been doing that literally (at times) and figuratively (all the rest of the time) to us for these last 7 or 8 years. It is also our way of protesting the GOPe complacency.
Why is he coming up? Because the moniker Trump uses against Cruz, i.e., “Lying Ted,” is itself a lie. Cruz is principled and consistent. He is not a liar. He would destroy Trump in a one on one debate. Rubio is a distraction at this point. I could see Kasich included, but Rubio is the next to go, IMHO.
Gee....do I believe you?.....or my own ears!?
I have heard Ted LIE!
...
About what?
Only we don’t really need a debater. We need a leader.
Over and over he attributes a position the media portrays Trump as having sometime in his life....
....as viable and present day
...Ted comes out on the campaign trail and says ....Trump is for this ......**fill in the blank**....now.
You may call it disingenuous.....I call it lying!
Trump HAS evolved his social positions.....to our good.
He recognizes the pressure Christians in our own society are under.....and will effect change on our behalf.....***he was specific about that last night in his victory speech!**
But Ted conveniently overlooks this.....and keeps spouting with his lying that this is Trump’s position now.
Abortion
Trade
Immigration, etc
Ted wiggles his way around the truth and accuses Trump !
Calling someone a liar is hard and harsh!....but when I hear Ted on TV, in his own words, lie.....well
I too yell at the TV.....You lie!
.....
So you believe that Trump has changed his mind on dozens of issues versus someone who has always been a conservative? Wow.
I’m sorry, but Cruz has indeed prevaricated about Trump’s positions and Cruz’s own past positions, for starters.
Neither is perfect, but they are the best two options we have.
“Dozens of issues”?
So was it a victory speech or a QVC segment?
