I know a little about steaks too. And if I'm spending $50 on a steak, I'm not going to buy it sight unseen. I'm going to the high end butcher shop in town, watch him cut it trim it and package it. I'm not going to wait for it to be sent to me on dry ice. Only suckers would do that.
And apparently there weren't enough suckers to buy those frozen steaks, because the Sharper image haven't offered them since 2007.

Are you telling me that prime aged 2 inch thick cowboy ribeye about 2 inches thick cooked perfect medium rare edge to edge with a perfect sear would not be worth 5 saw bucks a piece on New Years Eve.
