Trump Threatens “North American Union” Scheme (Heidi Cruz - "I support the [CFR] Task Force")
Accuracy in Media ^ | July 10, 2015 | Cliff Kincaid

Posted on 03/08/2016 8:13:20 AM PST by xzins

The liberal media and now, apparently, the chairman of the Republican Party, have objected to Trump’s comments about criminal aliens. In fact, what Trump has done is jeopardize a plan that goes way beyond mere amnesty for illegals, and which has been on the drawing board for more than a decade. Simply put, the plan is to submerge the sovereignty of the United States of America and politically integrate the U.S., Canada, and Mexico into a trilateral entity called the North American Union.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) calls it a “North American Community,” ...It means open borders and more criminal aliens in the U.S.

Accuracy in Media attended a conference on the topic of North American economic and political integration in 2007 which included proposals for a North American Court of Justice (with the authority to overrule a decision of the U.S. Supreme Court), a North American Trade Tribunal, and a Charter of Fundamental Human Rights for North America, also dubbed the North American Social Charter.

The major media won’t report on this because major Republicans and Democrats are in on it. Much of the scheme was hatched under the Republican administration of George W. Bush, but it is now being carried forward by President Obama.

It turns out that Trump has only scratched the surface of a scandal that threatens American sovereignty and would make it easier for millions more Mexicans to come into the U.S. completely legally.

“I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America,” Mrs. Cruz said in an additional statement in the CFR report. She also urged that economic investment in the region “be led and perpetuated by the private sector.”

No matter how much you are in love with Ted....The fact that he is married to a Goldman Sacs executive is 100 percent disqualifier! The 2016 vote is for saving America through a shift towards Nationalism. More Globalism and Cronyism is the opposite of what we need right now! Donald Trump is the right person for the right time and we are lucky to have him as one of our options! Use your common sense and you will see this more clearly.

It isn’t the Canada part that’s happening, right now.

it’s the ‘with Mexico part’.

Rest assured, once we effectively have no border with Mexico the elites will turn their focus to canada.

You will be overrun with refugees by then anyways. Thanks to your ‘reverted’ Trudeau.

Go to the site. Go under “issues” where he posts his plans.

Go under any of the other headings.

You will not find: (1) healthcare plan, (2) IRS plan

“In a marriage, there is no way a husband can remain uninfluenced by a wife.”

Yep. Political, religious or cultural polarization leads to one of three results: one will collapse, both will compromise or there will be a divorce.

Unequally yoked is a bad, sad place to be.

In this specific case, I’m not convinced they are not substantially on the same page anyway.

John the NAU is well on it’s way to reality.

Immigrants come and go as the please.

We are already deep into the E U model.

It sounds, to me, like another marriage of ambition and political furtherance.

Cuz we never see that, right? That's not a thing. Nooooooo.

My lord people, we don't live in Mayberry. Wake up. (not directed at you Sacajaweau)

You are what is commonly known as a useful idiot.

The citizens of the US wouldn’t sign on either, but do you think that will stop it?

Explain why the US won’t enforce it’s southern border.

It follows the EU model.

You are wrong.

You guys can not point to any reference of Ted Cruz ever supporting CFR.

The article and I presume Mrs. Cruz's quote is from 2007.

Ted Cruz has always gotten CFR right.

Cruz: Well, it’s kinda interesting. There are opponents in this race who have taken to attacking my wife. I’ll say several things to that.

First of all, it’s pretty revealing. When you see opponents in a campaign attacking a candidate’s wife, she’s not running for office, I am, and the fact that they are attacking my wife –– and what they’re targeting [3:51 mins in] is she was, for a brief period, what’s called a “term member” of the Council on Foreign Relations.

There are thousands of members on the Council on Foreign Relations. She joined it when she stepped down –– she was in the Bush administration –– she joined it as one of the few conservatives a part of the Council of Foreign Relations trying to push for conservative outcomes.

John Bolton is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. There are a handful that do so [I believe he is intimating a handful of conservatives on the CFR].

It was "Dirty" David Dewhurst, Ted Cruz's GOPe opponent for Kay Bailey Hutchinson's senate seat that 1st attacked Cruz via Heidi's CFR membership.

In the last part of the Task Force’s report, “Additional and Dissenting Views,” Heidi S. Cruz wrote (pp. 33-34):

“I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us—truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants.”

I was just told that Heidi is a life long 7th day Adventist.

Cruz is a Baptist.

That’s been oil and water my whole life, but maybe Texas Baptists have reconciled with James and Ellen White

A statement by SDA issued as late as 1983: Issued by the Biblical Research Institute of The General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

“DENIALS: 1.We do not believe that the quality or degree of inspiration in the writings of Ellen White is different from that of Scripture.”

Found at: http://www.whiteestate.org/issues/scripsda.html

There are lots of other statements on that site where they attempt to say that the Bible is the Word of God, but then they say “the inspiration of her writings isn’t different than scripture”.

That’s a red flag for me.

Which disputed none of the claims of Heidi and CFR.

Gist was ‘In spite of Heidi and Ted working for the NWO, anyone who says they worked for the NWO is a conspiracy theorist!’.

Gotcha.

To: Black Agnes; Spunky
I'll repeat what Spunky pointed out on another thread...

A lot of people here on FR don't read anything beyond the snippet. Then they start slamming.

I did take the time to read it and here is a snippet from your link.

Heidi Cruz’ role in all of this was as one of a large panel of readers and her sole identifiable contribution to the project is a one-paragraph response in the final appendix in which she says:

“We must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us — truly the measure of our success. As such, investment fund sand financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants.”

So basically, her role here is to say that free markets and free trade are the answer to greater regional prosperity. Amazing. Republican principles in a few sentences and suddenly she is accused of being part of the NWO? You can read more here – Anatomy of a Smear

Please do some research on your own. If you see something negative about Ted or Heidi, I am willing to bet the real story is quite different than those using it to smear a great patriot couple."

Go Cruz!

And again, just WHO do you think is pushing the elimination of borders?

The Private Sector!

You know, the one Heidi is pushing for ascendance in that statement?
