Sigh, shouldn’t Jordan have a say in this? The nation that Israel captured Jerusalem from was Jordan.
The Arab League attacked the fledgling state, but lost. Trans-Jordan, in the process, illegally occupied what is now called the West Bank. They then proceeded to make it part of Trans-Jordan, renamed their country Jordan, gave Jordanian citizenship to all Arab living in the West Bank, and proceeded to try to erase any sign of Jewish presence in the West Bank. In the process they destroyed Jewish places of worship, stole land and building, desecrated Jewish cemeteries, and closed down freedom of worship. Between 1948 and 1967 the West Bank was occupied by an invading Arab, Muslim state, whose ruling house was Saudi in origin. In 1967 Jordan along with other Muslim, Arab states fought Israel. Israel regained the West Bank, and ended the Jordanian occupation. The Israelis reestablish freedom of worship in the West Bank and annexed its ancient capital Jerusalem. The Arab states lost an enormous amount of territory. Prior to this war no people other than Jewish settlers were referred to as “Palestinian”. A new initiative, funded by Arab oil monies, took the stage. Magically, the vast group of Arabs (approximately 200 million), were no long involved, but now a small group of “Palestinian Arabs” became a persecuted minority in the world's view. Those Arab states, along with the greater Muslim population have always viewed Israel as illegitimate and called for the destruction of Israel. The Arabs unsheathed their oil weapon in 1973 and the world bowed at their feet. The world put out the cry “Land for Peace”, and Israel responded with peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan. When Israel tried to give a large portion of the West Bank back to Jordan, Jordan refused and gave up their claim to the West Bank. Instead the fallacy of a two state solution evolved (actually this would result in the creation of three states within the Palestinian Mandate. Strange that the Palestinian Mandate called for the establishment of a Jewish homeland. It never called for the creation of any other entity, Arab or other. Two states already exist in the Palestinian Mandate, Jordan and Israel. The Palestinians under the leadership of Arafat, tried to take over Jordan once and were expelled into Lebanon, and eventually North Africa. Only after the Oslo Accords in 1963 did the PLO return from North Africa, and were renamed the Palestinian Authority (PA). Now we have Arab and non-Arab, Muslim states trying to create a Muslim Caliph, to rule the Middle East, while the world in general looks on with a blind eye. So Obama now wants to dictate the “establishment of a Palestinian state”. How egotistical is that? He also demands that Israel establish a date for withdrawal of all “occupied areas”. Israel could reply with a question as to setting a date for the US to withdraw from California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico etc. The only problem is that under Obama La Raza (The Race) are slowly trying to accomplish this very thing. That being said whether we are talking about Judea, Samaria, or the southwestern US, all came about as the result of wars, and under international law belong to each nation. Israel fought wars against Arab armies in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973. The US and UN keep demanding Israel give up what is rightfully theirs under international law. The only occupied areas were the West Bank and Gaza, which were occupied by Arab forces between 1948 and 1967. Jordan no longer claims the West Bank or Jerusalem, so to what sovereign nation do you return this area? What nation other than Israel has ever had Jerusalem as its capital? What other nation has had people in the past live in Judah and Samaria (the West Bank)? The PA has already formally refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, stating that “the Arab states will never recognize a Jewish state.” ___________________________________________________________ The Arabs are only stating the obvious. How do you sign a peace agreement with a country, which you don't recognize? Of course Israel could also state the same about the Palestinians. There is, and never has been a country called Palestine. There is a geographic area renamed Palestine by the Romans, so as to remove the name Israel from history, but never a country called Palestine, with a capital, language, or culture. Again, there are already two states that have been created out of the Palestinian Mandate, Trans-Jordan and Israel. It takes two parties to make an agreement, but when one party (Muslims) do not recognize the others party’s right to exist, the outcome is inevitable. How do you enforce an agreement under these circumstances? The treaty would mean nothing. If there is an agreement, forced upon Israel, who “guarantee her safety”? The group forcing the agreement will do nothing when fecal matter hits the fan. All we have to do is look at how our own country lives up to its “guarantee of safety” for the Ukraine. The Ukraine agreed to give up nuclear weapons obtained when the USSR broke up. This disarmament agreement came as a result of a promise of safety by both the US and Russia. The US signed the agreement guaranteeing their safety. The Crimea situation screams to high heaven that promises, even given in good faith, are empty, when those who sympathize with your enemies or fear your enemies, obtain power. If the Ukraine, like Hungary in 1956 stands up against Russian oppression, will the US do, as it did then? As e.e. cumming stated in his poem, Thanksgiving 1956,”be quiet little hungary and do as you are bid a good kind bear is angry we fear for the quo pro quid” uncle sam shrugs his pretty pink shoulders you know how and he twitches a liberal titty and lisps “i’m busy right now”. Is this what we are facing? Will we live up to the promise given to the Ukraine? Will we live up to the promise given in the blood of our sons and daughters to defend those in Iraq and Afghanistan, who don't want Sharia Law? So why should Israel believe us, when we say one thing, but do another. Whatever agreement is forced on Israel will lead to its enemies emboldening themselves for an eventual invasion of Israel. Those who promise will renege, and the whole world will be in an uproar, because Israel will not bow to Arab demands, and give up her right to exist. The world as a whole doesn't condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran or any other Muslim group for spewing hatred and attempting to destroy Israel. They don't even question the firing of rockets at civilians in Israel. The world just wants Israel to give in to the Muslims and vacate the West Bank, as if this act will bring about “peace”. All this will do is give the Arabs another based or platform from which to attack. The Jews are always blamed for the world's troubles, as if by just existing, they cause evil to arise. Evil will always attack Jews, and when it can't prevail, will turn on Christians, as Revelations 12:17 states. Arabs were persecuting and killing Jews before there as a restored nation of Israel, and they will continue, because the existence of Jews proves that the Bible is true and G_d’s word. Notice again that the “Arab states” will never recognize a “Jewish state”. The word “Arab” denotes someone with an ancestry of the Arabian Peninsula. The Arabs invaded all the other areas of the world, outside of the Arab peninsula, and establish multiple countries ruled by Arab descendants. These multiple invasions were with the intent of conquering the world in the name of Allah, the moon god. They also claim whatever areas they have conquered in the past, still belongs to them (Spain, Greece, India, Israel etc.) Remember the Arabs at one time invaded Rome itself. That's the reason the walls around the Vatican were built. Does Rome belong to them? When will the United Nations demand the return of the above areas to Muslim rule. The tribe of Judah has returned to the Promised Land, it along with a scattering of other tribes descendants, lives in the area originally occupied by the ten Northern Tribes(Israel). Judah and Samaria, know now as the West Bank, was the area their ancestors lived in before they were forcible removed by Rome. Their homeland is occupied by immigrant Arabs, very few of which had ancestors who lived there in the 18th and 19th centuries. Most are sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters of Arabs who came into the area, after Jews moved back to a desolate land and started to make it bloom again. Just read the autobiographic book, Innocents Abroad, by Mark Twain, for a description of Israel in the 19th century, before the Jews started returning to their land. It was a destitute and vacant land. Jerusalem was mostly Jewish. The Temple Mount was in really bad shape. After all Mecca was the center of Muslim worship. The Romans renamed Israel Palestine (land of the Philistines), and forced the Jews into slavery and exile. Prior to the formation of the nation of Israel, the only people in the area who referred to themselves with the term “Palestinian”, were the “Palestinian Jews” who had returned to Israel. After the defeat of the combined Arab armies in 1967, the Arabs in the area started calling themselves “Palestinian”. This was a blatant attempt after the 67 war, to create in the world’s view a small and oppressed minority, rather than part of a larger Arab entity, hundreds of millions strong. Their own leaders have admitted this in the past. The hatred continues; the Arabs remain intransigent. Arabs have learned that the world fears the anger of Muslims, and the West keeps trying to appease the Muslims because of their economic power (oil resources). The center of the Sunni Muslim power is in Saudi Arabia, which because of their oil reserves, demands that the West bow to their wishes, or suffer the consequences. Remember the Oil Embargo of the middle 70’s. Using the money they make from the sale of oil, they spread Wahhabism (extreme Sunni Islam) throughout the world. The roots of Sunni terrorist groups can be laid at the foot of Saudi Arabia. Since the 1970’s mosques and Wahhabist Imams have been exported westward northward. Today, cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, and scarlet.....cattle and sheep, horses and carriages, and human beings sold as slaves flow into Mecca. Note that slaves flow into Mecca. Sounds like economic Babylon described in the Bible. The Shia in Iran (those who believe in the return of the twelfth imam) believe they are Gog and Magog mentioned in the Bible, but because they believe the Bible has been changed, and is now a lie, they claim that they are “Gog and Magog” and will be victorious, and will bring about a great war so that Islam will rule the world. The Dead Sea Scrolls, discovered by a Muslim, proves the Bible has not changed. The Jewish artifacts on the Temple Mount prove the existence of the first and second Temples, and expose the Muslim lie that Jews never lived in Jerusalem. Even the Koran itself, states that Israel belongs to the Jews. So the hatred is so intense that modern Muslims will not believe their own book, which states plainly that Israel belongs to the Jews? There are some imams that preach this, but the majority are so full of hatred that they now claim they are of Philistine descent, and so rightfully own Israel. Joseph Goebbells, Propaganda Minister for Nazi Germany stated the following, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” The Koran states that you can lie, cheat, and steal, to spread Islam. Islam means submission. They demand that the world submit to a lie. They worship the god of fortress, of strength, of hatred. Evil has raised its head once more, and to appease evil good men will do nothing. We need to support Israel, believe G_d's word, and insist our leaders not bow to expediency, the socialist rich, the mob, or another god, than YAHWEH.
