THE OLIGARCHS' SUPER-PAC ANTI-TRUMP SAVAGERY
WND ^ | 3-7-16 | PATRICK J. BUCHANAN

Fully 116 members of the GOP’s national security community, many of them veterans of Bush administrations, have signed an open letter threatening that, if Trump is nominated, they will all desert, and some will defect – to Hillary Clinton!

“Hillary is the lesser evil, by a large margin,” says Eliot Cohen of the Bush II State Department. According to Politico’s Michael Crowley, Cohen helped line up neocons to sign the “Dump-Trump” manifesto.

Our Principles PAC, backed by Nebraska’s billionaire Ricketts family, has poured millions into trashing Trump. American Future Fund is dumping $1.75 million in Florida this week; Club for Growth $1.5 million.

Hedge-fund billionaire Paul Singer is backing the Conservative Solutions PAC, which has dumped millions into anti-Trump ads and plans to spend more than $7 million between March 1 and 15, with $4 million of that going into Florida. The super PAC pile-on is unprecedented.

You need to shorten that to: They Sold Out America!

They’re only in it for themselves!

They hate Cruz, too. Trump or Cruz, we have to stand behind these two.

If the GOP hate Cruz too why is 100% of the millions in attack ads aimed at Trump? If the GOP hate Cruz why is Romney saying I support Cruz, Rubio and Kasich? Something doesn’t add up here. Buy a clue, FRiend.

Philly is a tough place. We had a dear friend at Penn Medical get violently attacked there. Had to give up being a surgeon.>>> sorry to hear that i stay away from west philly. never liked it and a guy i worked with years ago got shot by drive buys on his front step around 48th and baltimore. he went long gone. i think he was a liberal up to then and maybe after.

They hate Cruz, too.

Lodi90 raised an interesting observation. Many say the occupation hates Cruz, however there is very little evidence of it. I have been looking. That is why I am somewhat troubled by the meme that they hate Cruz too.

Donald Trump, of course, was speaking in the context of financial stability with Europe, which together with the U.S. is the Western World...as opposed to the 3rd World, Asia, Mexico, Cuba, Haiti.

I find it amazing after being in the public spotlight for decades this out of context comment is the best you can do. Keep on swinging.

You are correct.

Trump I'm sure has been threatened by some powerful people just like Perot's family was.

With these people as enemies you’d think every Cruz supporter could see that Trump is who this country needs. But, they’ll vote for the gop candidate in the end. And it won’t be Cruz.

Was about to post the same. I knew if I scrolled through the comments, I’d find a smart FReeper who’d already posted this. Thanks.

Just think of the $millions of dollars being spent to try and destroy Trump. He has spent the least amount ( his own) of money on his campaign while others have spent the GDP of small countries. In raw votes he is beating out all candidates 2/1, yet the GOPe and all their pundits will continue going against the will of the masses to get one of their elite club members elected.

>>Or do you think that the 200 point bump in the DOW every morning for the past seven years has been coming from the Tooth Fairy?<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Exactly. The stock market, once a genius invention for raising equity capital to start and grow businesses, has morphed into a vehicle for cannibalizing American industrial businesses to feed globalist/financialist monsters that feed on unrestricted access to American markets and destroy any residual American competitors. Businesses that remain are required by pressures of leverage and growth to bulk up Balance Sheets with debt. They too will be owned when the foreign creditors pull the plug.

No matter how powerful the 116 are - they STILL ONLY GET ONE VOTE EACH.

Trump won’t get one hundred and sixteen votes... it’s a yawn.

All that money and then some along side all that’s already been spent has to mean more than just attack ads. Who benefits from all of this money being spent? The media of course, and I wonder if it influences their (media) opinions of a candidate so they can bid for more of it (money); meaning driving a narrative that ultimately sticks even though much of it isn’t true such as where we are now regarding Trump. The media is the group that has labeled and raised the hatred against Trump. Trump I believe knew he had to take on the media to have a chance at winning the election and he’s not spending much either (media). The media makes a ton of money off elections it would seem.

I realize that a lot of money is donated to these Pacs by not just the elites but what is it that they are really buying or is it just simply power and influence. Is there more to it than that and how deep does it go? Maybe it is nothing more than what the word establishment literally means in that it is simply (all) politicians and (all) media as “one”. Just wondering.

I saw your post with all that money being spent and I just got into wondering more about it.

Note that no additional Super Pac Ads were ordered before February 24th. Do you think that date is significant?

When did Cruz and Marco Team up against Trump?

Dirty Deal Agreement....

It's a big club....and Marco CRuzio is in it.

Great work, on following the PAC $$/dates of ad buys, btw.

Needs to be sent to Trump.

The fear, I can smell it from here. What a cabal of filthy dogs, may they fail miserably. And Ricketts, enjoy the lovable losers, keep pouring more money into them and please, keep p’ing off the surrounding neighborhoods.

Agreed about the effectiveness of negative ads. Trump is now under an enormous attack from all sides. The “reactive armor” works only up to a point.

To answer your question, I see ads for IL and MO, and so far, I’ve seen a pro-Rubio ad (PAC - not sure which one) and anti-Trump ads from “Club For Growth”*) None from Trump. Granted, the local news makes up most of my TV viewing.

*Club For THEIR OWN Growth, evidently.

A pro-Cruz ad has been running for some time on multiple area talk radio shows. I’ve not had time to listen much, recently.

Note that the pro-Rubio TV ad that I saw looks like a slick ad for a US House race. Utterly forgettable, other than the slickness — “too slick”, if you ask me. And how one might discern the ad, from it’s CONTENT, heavily featuring video of Rubio, from one that came straight out of the Rubio campaign, I don’t know.

I speculated on another thread that Trump needs to spend $100 million a month on ads, now. This article makes me believe it all the more. In addition, EVERY radio or TV news report (MSM) that I’ve heard in the last few weeks has been anti-Trump biased, with some taking a blatant “class warfare” / envy-of-wealth approach.

My guess is that the Establishment figures that if the anti-politician vs. Establishment meme continues to build, Trump has a real shot against Hillary, even if most of the GOPe supports Hillary. (Note that I actually take Cruz and Kasich at their word that they would support Trump if he gets the nomination. Rubio... I have my doubts.)

OTOH, I’d guess that these Establishment types figure that if Cruz gets the nomination, they plus Hillary / the Dems CAN beat him, as Cruz’ long political life, despite his “gadfly” status, defuses much of the “anti-politician” support that Trump can generate. But, more likely, they want to flip the nomination to one of their own, and are using Cruz to get there.

Did you total that?

I’ve speculated on other threads that Trump needs to start spending around $100 million a month. He has almost the entire Establishment / media against him.
