Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) said on Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.
"I think an awful lot of reporters — I can't tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, 'You know what? We're going to hold it to June or July,'" Cruz said on CBS's "Face The Nation" Sunday. "We're not going to run it now."
Cruz said the media has given the front-runner "hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising." Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this "phenomenon."
"And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you'd better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart," he said.

I Don't remember him saying that we had to accept horse manure issuing forth from the mouth of any of these guys. Grandpa Munster is not a good guy.
Cruz encapsulates everything I find repulsive about politicians. Put up or shut up Ted.
At the risk of being labeled a conspiracy nut, I throw out the following reasoning:
1. The media truly wants to see Hillary win.
2. The media knows Hillary is a terrible campaigner.
3. The media is wary of the FBI investigation.
4. The media knows that Hillary is a liar, cannot be
trusted and is disliked by a large percentage
of the voting base.
5. Given Hillary’s long list of negatives the
media concludes the best strategy is to
minimize Hillary’s exposure while focusing
on the shortcomings, including their own
research, of her opponent.
...and then it’s ROMNEY TO THE RESCUE!
The media never does anything about the Republican until after the nomination.
Then they do what is called the media dump.
NBC is holding a BBC expose that they bought from them and will be showing it if he gets the nod. I have some friends in London who have seen it and they say it makes Trump look real bad. You know how Americans can't resist an English accent. And they will place it with all the other exposes they have planned.
June through November - that is almost 2 full seasons summer and fall - geared to satisfy the sweeps that will take place within that time.
It will be drip, drip, drip. Meanwhile, they will release little to nothing on Hitlary.
Blowing smoke? I think not.

Trump is one of the highest profile people for the last 30+ years.

They're not trying to prevent Trump from getting the nomination. They want him to be nominated, it's clear from all the coverage they give him -- many times more than the other candidates. They are holding off with any damaging info hoping for Trump to be the R nominee, and then they'll use it to weaken him in the general to usher in Queen Hillary.
It's hard to imagine anything worse than what he's boasted about already.
They are sitting on a big one about Cruz over at Breitbart.
A game changer
So cruz is in the media loop and he is supposed to be an outsider. I hadn’t made up my mind to this point but this is the straw. I’m not voting for cruz.
