Vanity Post: VOTE AS YOU WISH, AND LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT TRUMP

VOTE AS YOU WISH, AND LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT TRUMP - - A personal note from Peter Ticktin who knows the guy from high school:

As a law firm, we at The Ticktin Law Group do not like to get involved in politics. As soon as we endorse one side, we risk alienating everyone on the other side. Also, our lawyers and staff are, themselves, on both sides. Politics is not our game. However, Justice is!

If you saw a guy get publicly smeared, and you knew him well from the days you were friends and seniors together in high school, if you knew him to be a decent and honest man, would you want to say something? This is why I need to share what I know.

I was aghast at watching last night's debate. It was a set-up. The moderators, Cruz, and Rubio were all like little alligators trying to take a bite out of Trump. Yes, Donald Trump has had some failures, but he has been exceedingly successful. None of this came out. Instead, there was a general attack. Rubio simply makes up lies. He pretends that Trump has small hands and makes fun of him for something which isn't even real. He pretends that Donald wets his pants, and makes fun of him, as though it was true, and then he calls Donald Trump a "Bully."

It is amazing to me that despite that giant target on his back that we do not see more people who have known Trump for many years saying bad things about him.

I cannot stand the look and persona of Megyn Kelly. To me, she is hideous.

I agree. She has dead cold shark eyes.

WTH? Surely this guy is aware that Trump turned this primary into an ad hominem, personal attack-fest loaded with lies and mountains out-of-molehills,,, and that’s because he can’t win a policy debate. Trump doesn’t even know what he doesn’t know.

If you don’t vote for him because you don’t believe him to be a principled conservative, more power to ya.

As we travel down life’s highway, we learn, we achieve and we grow...when we open a new chapter in our lives, and close the last chapter, we only hope that while we are doing this, that there are people who really see us as we are...

What a chapter to open and look inside and see what life was then for one Senior looking at another Senior and later when that chapter was closed to have someone come forth and let us know how and who that person was...

Those are the legacies of life we all hope to attain and achieve and very few of us have that behind us...

Such a beautiful look at a tremendous human being Donald J. Trump!!!

Word.
Joe The Plumber, Sarah Palin - so many people outside the DC establishment get Alinskyed and people who should know better (many here) are like moths to a flame and easily swayed. Where is THEIR core?

I disagree with his assertion that the Republican establishment is afraid of Trump because he would lose to Hillary. They are afraid of Trump because he CAN beat Hillary!!!

Trump will fare better against Hillary than Cruz would. What Democrat would cross over to vote for Cruz? Few, very few, and that would ONLY be because some Dems dislike Hillary. These votes would be 'anti-Hillary' votes. Most Dems disenchanted with Hillary will JUST STAY HOME AND NOT VOTE rather than vote for Cruz!

Apparently, Trump would go home weekends and work for/with his dad, instead of party. His buds were curious about that.

I used to do that, too, so I understand.

It’s a mindset about work.

Maybe rents will go down in DC as people actually have to work for a living. Maybe lobbyist offices will go vacant. Maybe fedgov will shrink and folks go home to make an honest buck.

I am angry. We should all be.

I looked into Trump University. It was active in the earlier 2000s when a housing boom and then bubble were in full swing. Nearly every person that paid for the training rated it highly and many made a lot of money in real estate.

But in 2008, many people lost money. In 2008, there was a massive real estate collapse due to a once-in-a-century banking collapse.

Is Donald Trump responsible for the real estate collapse of the late 2000s? Of course not. Is he then responsible for people losing money? No.

Greedy lawyers filed for a class action. They certified from the enrollment lists of Trump U a total of 30,000. That does not mean in the least that 30,000 persons think they were scammed by Trump U. Very few think they were scammed.

What it means is that these lawyers (whose backgrounds are found to be unethical) had cheaply printed on small cards a mailer to 30,000 recipients stating that a class action had been filed against Trump U. Such cards always state that the recipient has a chance to opt out in case they wish to pursue their own lawsuit. In almost every such filing, more than 90% throw away the card and so they are opted in by default. And in every one of these cases, the litigants collect very very little while the lawyers take away millions.

The case has dragged on for many many years which indicates that plaintiffs are filing continuances because they can’t get the case together, they are trying to pad their billing or they are hoping to harass their way to a settlement.

That the media would bring the plaintiff’s side of the case to the spotlight to have it tried in public is disgusting. As far as I can tell they have not brought any of the defendant’s facts of the case to the public, only the plaintiffs (who are for all intents and purposes the lawyers). This is beyond disgusting, it is a lynching.

I heard Donald Trump on a video clip say in the debate that it would be very easy for him to settle the case out but he does not choose to because the case is not strong on the plaintiff’s side. But that didn’t stop Fox News from trying to damage Trump with pending litigation.

It would be like having news media report an old nuisance case on you and try and convict you in public without giving you due process. I don’t think you would be happy to see that happen and I’d bet you wouldn’t be able to hold yourself together as well as Donald did in the debate.

Until there is a court ruling, this case means absolutely nothing. We don’t rule against someone before a ruling is made and that is what was attempted here by Megyn Kelly. She is disgusting.

Which DOES have an “A” rating from the BBB.

And that rating, along with a fiver, will allow you to enjoy your favorite Starbucks concoction.
