And that’s fine. I just don’t see the reason for attacking Huckabee for going after Romney and his brokered convention plan. Romney does not want Cruz either.

For years we asked them to take away Obama’s checkbook, to sit on him, and secure the border and stop funding Planned Infanticide, to stop nonsensical adventures whee we’re actually supporting Syrian groups on both sides, savages, some cannibals, and we have “lost” millions of dollars in military equipment, weapons, munitions, vehicles, even tanks ... but we can’t seem to rescue a handful of Americans being butchered at a consulate, and then, after all, you and I are to blame because we’re Islamaphobes churning out hateful youtube videos, and so many other things ... and all we got was `lip service’.
We e-mailed our critters (response: “Thank you for contacting me. Enclosed is a form letter provided to me by Speaker Boehner’s office that completely ignores your concerns ...”) and we showed Cantor, Boehner and Luger and others the door. Still,
crickets.

It was a good night for both Cruz and Trump. Congrats to both of them. Marco got nothing.

You are absolutely right. To a lot of people, including me, this race has grown into a competition involving us FReepers and who can one up the other. I am glad that you pointed that out.
Romney is against both Trump and Cruz. He’s establishment. Let’s agree that anyone (including Huckabee) who trashes this fool should earn our praise not scorn.

I had my reasons for supporting Trump over Cruz in the first place. I think that it was assuming they were both sincere, but Trump has more executive experience and Cruz would be a good up and comer to keep in reserve for 2024...
Now I barely think about them any more because I’m just so POed about the venom coming up on FR.

I’m happy that Cruz is doing well because it keeps him in the game and if he works really well in the senate, even if he loses this time, he’ll be good for ‘24.
heck, if he acts like Hillary, he’ll be good till ‘44!!

And CPAC will fan the flames even hotter if it does what it intends......Cruz mentioned that they shouldn’t because he knows that much of the nation was pissed about what establishment types did in Mississippi to dump the People’s choice and re-seat Thad Cochran - he would be toast if that happens on a national scale....they seem to be trying to do it w/o realizing it unless they think they can leave Trump standing alone and then destroy him because they’d rather have Hillary or Bernie than Trump or Cruz.
