There are all kinds of accusations that will come up about all candidates. Unfortunately, that’s politics.
Furthermore, I don’t expect any of them to be perfect. I’m not perfect either.
However, with Trump, he changed his positions on TOO MANY issues JUST BEFORE HE DECIDED TO RUN, which is why I don’t trust him. Also, Trump’s past has been very unprincipled which makes him more untrustworthy. I don’t take pleasure in saying that, but it is important that our politicians have principles.
My question was purely ... how would you account for those things - the questionable tactics - if asked in a non-attack way. I think you are saying 'it's just part of politics' - and I'm a grown up and already get that there is political mud being slung, and therefore I think you are saying you have no real answer because you don't believe there is a real question -> which is fine.
I hope they are both good men.
Anyway - summary - I'm glad Cruz is doing well. Him doing well is not against what I hope this election accomplishes.
>>I do know Texas voters were surprised Cruz was a Canadian when they voted for him.<<
Yea, right. I guess this is the reason Cruz lost Texas. /sarc
He was endorsed by all conservative leaders. Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, Former Gov. Rick Perry and conservative radio talk show host Michael Berry and constitutionlist Mark Levin.
u can see why Maine is more interesting than NH now. 18,000 votes vs. 300,000.
but I skipped it because of all the negativity. why do I let the negativity get to me?
The other lesson to be learned is that it was a big success without me. Another 1000 people and Cruz would get winner take all. another 11 delegates.
NeverTrump gets the credit for this win. Unfortunately.
Caucuses seems to be better than primaries, limits the mouthbreather vote.
the rural counties got the short end.
they are deliberately not disclosing the county totals in Maine because the turnout was so low in the rural counties.
The caucus sites were not accessible.
In a regular election, court cases have determined this type thing to be a 14th amendment violation.
Reminds me of Providence 1980 when the DEMs moved the voting location in a Republican ward at the last minute. They moved it to some warehouse in a scary neighborhood with no parking access. I think this sort of crap doesn’t go on as much any more.
TUES looks like Trump gets MICH and MISS
Cruz gets IDAHO
and Hawaii??? Not Cruz.
The “Mormon thing” will help Cruz in IDAHO.
(Mormon thing, definition: the #NeverTrump campaign led by Romney.)
Maybe Cruz has a shot in Missouri on the 15th.
Poor Rubs, he WAS a Mormon.
Trailing badly in Florida last I heard, perhaps he should drop out and endorse Cruz.
Illinois poll
WeAskAmerica 2/24 - 2/24
38% Trump
21% Rubio
16% Cruz
9% Gay’s Itch
anyone have predictions for MISSISSIPPI?
Cruz on the rise?

Maine has been consistently ranked one of the LEAST religious states in the nation, and is about as far away from the bible belt as it gets.
My guess is they will claim Cruz pulled some dirty trick and "fooled" Maine Republicans or "stole" it from Donald Trump by "lying" about him (e.g. quoting Donald's own words verbatim)
Some guy was incredulous that Cruz won Kansas by a larger margin than Texas.
The thought is “GOPE” gave orders for anti-Trump tactical voting, and of course that is “unfair”. Every state he doesn’t win it’s somehow unfair, every state he wins they whoop it up, say it’s all over and call Cruz supporters sore losers without the slightest hint of irony.
Apparently there is just no fair or honorable action other than helping to measure Don’s head for the crown.
