Outside of Texas and Oklahoma, Cruz has done well in the caucus states where the least people are voting. Trump brings out the number, not Cruz.

Who's going to be excited to vote for Cruz in November other than the small base of heavily Christian voters?

Trump has off the chart negatives a Trump win in the primaries assures a Clinton win. Cruz fares far better in polling than Trump in a general election.

Correct! Who are the caucus goers? Mostly party hacks. I was one of them, working as precinct captain in Washington state. I never missed a caucus.

In the general election in November, it will be just the opposite. The candidate needs huge turn out to win.
