which part of Chicago?
he might want to get extra reinforcements :)
What the hell is that state these days? red, purple, blue?
Chicago is the bluest of blue.
Just west of downtown in an old Italian neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants in the area.
UIC, former employer of Bill Ayers, is just west of the Loop.
I retired some years ago from working at the UIC Math Dept., and the Pavilion is a huge, cavernous auditorium shaped like a giant mushroom, or a flying saucer if you prefer. It is the location of choice where the racist Black “Reverend” Louis Farrakhan holds his rallies, an interesting juxtaposition, I must say with the Trump rally.
A short distance west of the Pavilion, the neighborhood, once off campus, becomes exceedingly seedy. Occasionally the Hood’s yutes take potshots with firearms at passing motorists heading into the City for work on the Eisenhower Expressway. Just for chuckles.
I hope Trump comes there in an armoured car with a large contingency of bodyguards. There is also a very large population of activist Palestinian and other Muslim students on campus. This location for a Trump rally makes me very nervous. Hope he has his bullet proof vest on.
