IMHO Glenn Beck is not quite right in the head. I can see why the Secret Service would want to pay him a visit. The thing that is hard to fathom is why Ted Cruz still associates with this loon.

Secret Service has some spare time now that Carson is out of the race. I don’t recall any of the remaining GOP candidates, other than Trump, being under their protection.

Maybe this was deemed a legitimate threat and perchance the rationale for Trump NOT attending CPAC?
You don’t yell fire in a theatre and you don’t “joke” about harming any under USSS protection.

Caitlyn Jenner supports Ted Cruz, hopes to be 'trans ambassador'
LOS ANGELES, March 4 (UPI) -- Caitlyn Jenner has voiced her support for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz in addition to her plan to be an advisor of his if he won the presidency.
Speaking with The Advocate, Jenner expressed her hope conservative politician Cruz would become sensitive to LGBT issues with her help as a "trans ambassador."
"Wouldn't it be great, let's say he goes on to be president," she said. "And I have all my girls on a trans issues board to advise him on making decisions when it comes to trans issues. Isn't that a good idea?"
Jenner, 66, defended Republican ideals during the interview, saying although Democrats "are better when it comes to these types of social issues," conservative, captitalist economics is what made the United States.
"Socialism did not build this country. Capitalism did. Free enterprise. The people built it. And they need to be given the opportunity to build it back up," the I Am Cait star said.
The television personality will be seen in the second season of her hit E! Network docu-series trying on wedding dresses and confronting angry protesters, according to a recently released trailer. During the recent Advocate interview, Jenner said "three people, one with a bullhorn, just yelling and screaming," met her outside of a fundraiser.
"I'm in there raising money for Chicago House, which is helping trans women of color find a place to sleep," Jenner explained of the media spectacle involving the protest.
Beck is in serious need of lots of down time far, far away from all of this.
Hopefully he LEARNS HIS LESSON. There are a lot of people here that WOULD LIKE to say certain stuff about certain public figures, but we KNOW BETTER.
Yet Beck has his own RADIO SHOW and still has to talk about STABBING A PERSON. The Secret Service should have TAKEN HIM IN, just for that - making jokes about stabbing ANYONE, be it a producer or a presidential candidate, is not funny and needs to be stopped.

I doubt the SS would’ve shown up if the comment had been innocently directed at someone else and not Trump. (But nice try, Beck.) They have better things to do than make unnecessary visits. Most likely they did their due diligence and felt the issue was worth looking in to.

Glenn Beck is mentally unstable. I actually fear for Ted Cruz’s physical safety more than Donald Trump..because I think Beck is the kind of person who would harm Cruz if he is not the nominee, he is THAT invested in him..I really truly hope that Beck gets the help he needs
