Ever since the physical swamp of DC was drained, a couple hundred years ago, it's had plenty of swamp denizens and you could practically always find someone who'd claim they were in charge. And I don't think you really wanted to use that "high roller disciples" reference considering the only gambling connection in the current political discussion is Trump's.
