Yes he did. I watched the debate, plus I recorded it on my DVR and watched it this morning. By the many amounts of applause he got from the audience he got it was clear that he was the winner. Both Kasich and Rubio got a fair amount of applause.
While Trump did get some applause, he got more boos for the way he acted, and no one should be surprised
