Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, a former Air Force pilot who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, said on Thursday that Donald Trump is openly advocating war crimes that would cause the soldiers who obeyed his orders to be jailed.
“If you’re a private in the field and your major or your colonel orders you to do something that is a war crime, you actually bear responsibility, you can’t say that the colonel made me do it,” said Kinzinger, who is supporting Marco Rubio. “What Donald Trump, as wanting to be president of the United States is advocating, is a war crime that would force every soldier that did, i.e. killed the relatives of terrorists, tortured regardless of whether it not it works, the things that he’s advocating would force all of these people in jail.”
Speaking on the Steve Cochran Show on Chicago radio, Kinzinger argued that Trump was either “all bluster” or comparable to Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.
“Now, you have to do one of two things,” he said. “You either believe that Donald trump is all bluster which most people do but for some reason they like that, or you take him at his word in which case he is advocating, like what Benito Mussolini did, war crimes.”
Kinzinger also said that what Trump was calling for “makes me sick.”
“For the leading Republican presidential candidate to advocate war crimes, which he does openly, just advocates war crimes, doesn’t matter, makes me sick really,” he said. “Especially as somebody that’s defended the country. It’s just terrible.”
Later in the interview, Kinzinger said, “I can’t see myself supporting Donald Trump. I never say definitively because who knows in the future. But I have no intention of supporting Donald Trump.”
As for his preferred candidate, Rubio, Kinzinger said he felt “pretty good” about the Florida senator’s chances of winning his home state’s primary, but that “I’d definitely rather be in Trump’s position politically.”
“Nonsense” be damned.

Post the actual quote of what Trump said, not just the spin.
Context of the quote is the Military will be happy to follow a President Trumps leadership given the nature of the threat we face. The notion that he is going to give them illegal orders is spin added to the statement based on the assumption that current ROE would be in place.
It’s assholes like this that I tell my boys not to join the military. I tell them that with people like this prick, you can’t tell whether the enemy is in front of you, or behind you within your own ranks.

President TRUMP is not going to recommend jeopardy for the military soldiers he loves, by placing any action of theirs under an ILLEGAL order.
He can call for the arrest and investigation of anyone he wishes, in a war zone, and in proximity to a wanted or captured foreign fighter.
Of course you will not bother to learn what Trump said just snark and run away as usual.

Nowhere in this article did I read any quote from Trump that would considered a war crime. Am I BLIND?
Duncan Hunter was brilliant defending Trump on TV this morning, can someone find the video.
He said “in war you must crush the enemy” “stop pussy footing around” “use whatever means necessary to extract the terrorists next targets”
I was cheering, the TV talking head couldn’t believe we had someone standing up for our safety.
Anyone remember Dresden, Carpet bombed to the ground just like London. Lots of women and Children in Dresden got bombed. But Germany started the war and defending yourself is a national responsibility.
Terrorism is not a person you can shoot and be done with it.
Terrorism is a strategy, an idea. The only way to kill an idea is to make the consequences of acting on it so horrific, so swiftly enacted, so certain of reprisal, that the decision to engage in it dies in brain before it can be implemented. The KGB understood this; we need to.
If you wipe out the villages, families, and enablers of terrorists, you will, in time drive it to the dirt. Trump knows this. As for torture, water boarding does no physical damage and is kinder than what Islamist impose on their captives.
Those who insist on kinder, gentler warfare seem most adamant in their beliefs when the bullet is biting someone else’s bone.
We’re eagerly awaiting publishing of the impeachment motions against Obama submitted by Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, since Obama has ordered the killing of the families of terrorists in drone strikes.
Let’s not forget the street celebrations of the Twin Towers attack.
