This is an article from last summer, but very, very relevant today.
"...These were not isolated incidents. A review of the Rubio familys finances including many new documents reveals a series of decisions over the past 15 years that experts called imprudent: significant debts; a penchant to spend heavily on luxury items like the boat and the lease of a $50,000 2015 Audi Q7; a strikingly low savings rate, even when Mr. Rubio was earning large sums; and inattentive accounting that led to years of unpaid local government fees.
Mr. Rubio has acknowledged missteps: using personal credit cards to pay for his campaigns (a bad idea, he said); appointing his wife, Jeanette, as a treasurer of a political action committee (ill advised, he said); and using the party money for the reunion trip (an accident, he said). Mr. Rubio, in his 2012 memoir, An American Son, confessed a lack of bookkeeping skills and an imperfect accounting system...."

How can we trust someone of this character with the future financial stability of our country?
We can't... he is reckless and dangerous.
Isn’t his brother or brother in law an ex con drug dealer?
little marco... high heeled miami bubblebath boy
he got jerked around...
he was told he would get $100 mil funding if he viciously attacked trump...
and the day after he did....
they backed out....
sucker...
wont win florida or any other state.... bye bye chihuahua
So we go from a half-breed and his wife living high on the hog on our dime to a Cuban queer?
My wife has cousins who married Cubans. All of them are financially irresponsible and are big on status symbol purchases.
well, I agree he's been reckless but the core issue is dishonesty. Deceit and dishonesty.
Unlucky in money, people, and investments? Sure - It can happy to people.
But, as a potential leader of the country, as one observer put it, “I’d rather have a lucky general than an over-educated, over-qualified general.”
yep. and yet the hispanic “jeb” rolls on, raking in establishment money—largely stolen from us in various guises.
but then, his imprudence with money is the least of our worries about the traitor rubio.
If the NY Times is capable of releasing this information about Rubio. Just wait till Trump wins the nomination. The amount of information they have on his personal and financial history along with everything else isn’t going to be pretty.
I’m not a Rubio fan but his 24 boat is anything but a luxury water craft. The NYT lies again. A real luxury boat would cost well beyond the amount he spent on it and cost a lot more to maintain.
Loads of people in Florida have similar boats. Its nothing special.
And giving it to his mistress to run up $40K of debt. He really should switch sides to the RATS.
Little Marco is done - Trump framed him as small and he’ll never crawl out from under that.
True but someone of character wouldn’t run up these “wants” over paying off his student loan financed by you and me. Especially if that someone wanted our vote. Nope, sorry, pay me back first and then we’ll talk about votes. I’m tired of giving, giving, and giving more to those who aren’t responsible.
I agree with your points. Paying back the student loan should be a priority especially given his position in government.
But my point was not so much as to justify his buying the boat but rather to point out that the NYT is stretching the truth. In fact, its not even considered as a “speedboat”. Its really just a typical size fishing boat without any of the high end features and creature comforts that are on real luxury boats. Not even close.
Honest reporting would have put his “luxury” item into proper perspective. But with the NYT objectivity would be expecting too much.
No Show Rubio has financial troubles? Hard to believe? /S
He can’t even run his own finances let alone the countries especially when it is other peoples money.
“?Little Marco is done - Trump framed him as small and hell never crawl out from under that.”
I wish Trump would have used No Show Rubio. I like that better.
Great post! Marco is extremely dangerous. New York Times deserves kudos for vetting this Rubio imposter. Here's the money paragraph:
Who pays an unknown, destitute immigrant $800,000 to write a book! A donor who wants something big in return, that's who. And then his campaign book, American Dreams, is another fraud. Imagine, here's a guy who hardly worked a day in his life before becoming a state rep. What does he know about the American Dream? The American Dream is not about making in politics through slimy backdoor payoffs. It's about making it on your own, achieving something, building something either as an entrepreneur or manager in a business. The silly attacks on Trump by this annoying chihuahua last night made me so sick I turned off the debate. Rubio has no right to be on the same stage as the others. |
One more thing about this fraud, Marco. The GOPe and Wall Street globalists know they must constantly refresh their supply of candidates. Initially, Rubio was supposed to be a foil for the rise of Jeb! till everybody discovered that Jeb! was a hopelessly weak candidate. The plan was to groom Marco for a future presidential campaign. Thank God, Trump got into the race and exposed the corruption. I feel so sorry that the plans of this Foam Boy/Wall Street cabal have been exposed. /sarc |
Cabana boy always has excuses.
His affiliation with billionaire Norman Braman is reminiscient of John Edward's association with Bunny Mellon. In fact, Cabana boy reminds me a lot of The Breck girl.
