Herschel Walker's got his old boss' back -- ripping Mitt Romney for his anti-Trump speech this morning ... essentially calling the guy a loser. Walker has been an extremely vocal supporter of his 'Celebrity Apprentice' boss -- previously telling TMZ Sports he believes Trump will "save America." Now, with Mitt Romney blasting Trump this morning as a "phoney" who is dangerous for the country -- and John McCain also denouncing him -- Walker went to bat for Donald with a new statement: "McCain and Romney lost the playoffs years ago yet they want to talk about someone getting ready for the Super Bowl ... Think about that." By the way, Walker's not the only 'Celeb Apprentice' star who's stood by The Donald -- Terrell Owens, Gary Busey and Stephen Baldwin are also team Trump.

Some of us may have known or suspected, but now they are confirming to us all they are frauds.
Same party, same team.
I knew there was a reason I always liked #34.
This speech was the equivalent of someone saying Bill Gates is a failure because the Zune, Windows ME, and Windows Vista SUCKED!
Yes, the Zune was a bust (I should know, I bought one for my daughter the year it was released - YIKES), and Windows ME was a glitchy, rushed product, but Bill Gates is NOT a failure.
And let’s not forget, Bill Gates didn’t invent a single item that Microsoft ever produced, he BOUGHT every technology advancement that Microsoft ever had (DOS, Windows 2.9, etc...), so does that make Bill Gates a failure who kinda of “inherited” many products?
This whole speech was complete BUNK - period.
And I’m a Cruz fan!
I’m comfortable with either Cruz or Trump—Wish they’d stop beating each other up and train their guns on Hillary!.
That the GOP-e has to rely on two losers—Romney and McCain—to try and take down Trump is an epic admission of what an empty vessel the party has become.
Surprised they didn’t trot out Bob Dole for the hat trick.
To paraphrase a great American: I didn’t leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left me.
I think you've been trapped behind enemy lines for too long.
You're starting to sound like them.
Great analogy Herschel.
You always trained , and performed to be the best , so you know what a true Loser is.
It’s that Mitt Romney said anything at all is what the problem is. It was an outrage what he did.
Two people that I work with are committed Cruz supporters (none of us have signaled that we favor Trump above Cruz, in fact) but after Romney’s little speech with cheering Mitt supporters hooting on cue as he spoke they were both furious at the GOP leaders for the fact that it happened. No way you’ll convince them that Romney decided to do this on his own without being prompted by the RNC through Ryan and McConnell.
Furious pissed is the description I can use for the sentiment amongst my co-workers yesterday. “It’s like they want to lose to Hillary just on purpose just because Donald Trump is ahead in the primaries!” was the talk.
The Republican Party leaders need to wake the hell up and understand that it was lame-Os like Mitt Romney who didn’t exactly light a fire under under the American voter like Donald Trump has done. Their RNC-endorsed candidates didn’t really amount to much so they’re going to be kamikaze pilots on principle because Rubio sucks in the polls?
Any more dumb stunts like this and it’s the end of the GOP, and they’ll be the ones who murdered it. Yes, Donald Trump is a bit of a freak show but the RNC and GOP haven’t got anyone better running in this election. That’s the sad fact. Cruz repels the average American even though he seems a stalwart conservative on paper and Rubio is like the Paul Tsongas of the GOP. Better get behind Trump and STFU. Let a GOP congress manage President Trump unless they’re seeking to lose that too.
Famous black man supports Trump.....media is silent.
Perfect.
For a Georgia Bulldog, Herschel’s a pretty good guy.
A famous black man in support of Trump? New York Times where are you?
“This speech was the equivalent of someone saying Bill Gates is a failure because the Zune, Windows ME, and Windows Vista SUCKED!”
Totally correct.
