We don’t want to wall ourselves off from the rest of the world as if we have nothing to gain from free trade and nothing to learn from the free exchange of ideas with everybody else. We don’t have a close-minded superiority complex towards everybody who’s not exactly like us.
This is a dumb straw man. Free exchange of ideas? So if we protect American industries from countries that abuse their currency and which only pay their employees something like 140 bucks for an entire month for the same job, somehow we're blocking the free exchange of ideas with those countries well known for scientific advances, such as India and Vietnam?
That's not what's happening. Globalists buy up our media and technology companies and use them to shut down the free exchange of ideas. They also take over our manufacturing and offshore it to low wage countries. Then they flood the domestic labor market with immigrants. With a glut of workers they can then terrorize anyone who steps out of line with threats of job loss if they criticize the process. That's what political correctness is. A system for promoting "freedom" that is in effect serfdom.
And yeah, I want to wall us off! The wall just got ten feet higher!
Who is "we"? You got turd in your pocket?
Are you speaking for ALL Cruzbots when you say that?
Or are you an H1-B supporting troll now? Or is it you stand in solidarity with the Syrians in Cologne?
