Anyone that thinks the son of a Cuban, born in Canada is a natural born citizen of the USA as the founders understood natural born citizen is not expert on our Constitution.

That's clear enough so even an agrarian can understand...

Levin keeps saying he wants a new Republican party. He never says what that is.

I have posted that it [conservative take-over] did not happen with Goldwater, did not happen with Reagan, and will never happen — from within. Thus, how will there ever be a ‘new’ Republican party, considering how Levin has a war going on with Trump — Trump being the only candidate who is bringing in new voters.

A couple of years ago, Levin said he was within a inch of dumping the Republicans. He never said where he would go as a replacement. He never seemed to ‘inch’ any closer to that departure.

More recently, since the apparent demise of Rubio, Levin has been claiming that FoxNews is now in the tank for Trump. LOL. I haven’t heard that on FoxNews, but I only tune in F&F or Hemmer for the morning headlines. But, it gives Levin another reason to trash Trump.

I started turning Levin off at the first bash when he started giving nightly lectures on ethanol subsidies in Iowa. Surveys in Iowa indicated that ethanol, however, didn’t even show up as a concern for Iowans. But the nightly lectures on ethanol continued — because they gave Levin an opening to his nightly Trump-bashing.

==

Levin is like the other ‘talkshow’ hosts. He is an entertainer who depends on the current disarray to give him fodder for his talkshow.

The Levin thread has become no better than the presidential campaign. A few sycophants patrol the thread and bash anyone who posts anything they do no like or anything negative of Levin. One of his biggest sycophants, who revealed he works on a new Levin-related website, admits he would rather vote for Hillary than any Republican other than Cruz.

The Trump movement is not a conservative movement. It is an anti-DC, anti-GOPestablishment, anti-More-of-the-same-politics-as-usual.

It comes from those who voted the Republicans a majority in the House in 2010 -- that the Republicans continue to squander on a daily basis.

It comes from those who voted the Republicans a majority in the Senate in 2014 -- that the Republicans continue to squander on a daily basis.

When you vote in Republicans and they turn to jelly as soon as they cross the Potomac, what else can you do? Voting for more staunch Republicans doesn't seem to work. Look at the campaign at the last debate when Cruz and Rubio seemed to join forces against Trump. See the problem there? Two sitting senators join forces to go aginast the non-politician. That is the same as what the GOPestablishment continues to do to conservatives.

Recall what this is the definition of? Voting for the same and expecting a different result.

But how did Trump, of all the people on this planet, become the leader of it? He has been an establishment uniparty donor and contributor and supporter for the last 40 years. Didn't he contribute $60,000 (that's more than a lot of here make in a year) to contribute to McConnell's campaign to stave off the Tea Party Candidate, Matt Bevin? How can we trust that Trump is going to be anything that he has never been before?

In his defense, Trump is coming from the other side.

We are TOO familiar with the politicians who sell out to and are influenced by businesses and lobbyists.

Trump has been on that ‘business’ side. He is revealing what goes on inside politics, but from the perspective of the non-politician businesses.

We have known forever that businesses donate to both parties. It is a politican version of shakedown.

We need to accept that politics is dirty and businesses that pay off politicians are dirty, but that is CODB — Cost of Doing Business.

Why else do you think the Chamber of Commerce is so influential?

Why else are the wealthiest counties in the nation on the border with DC?

To quote Judge Judy: “Follow the money.”

Hiring a crony capitalist to stop crony capitalism is a fools errand.

Uh, which candidate gave money to Cruz, Reagan, Bush and Romney? They gladly took it and sung his praises.

Romney said Trump was a better businessman than him..while taking Trump’s money.

Cruz attacks Trump...while he took his checks.

Cruz lies about it all...saying Trump gave money to Hillary while conveniently not mentioning that he took Trump’s money.

Keep trying to sell that agenda you’ve got going. At times I hate social media, at other times I love it. During this election, I’m loving it. We the people can check other places to see if what the media is spinning is true.

This ‘holier than thought’ crap doesn’t fly anymore.

No one blindly follows Trump here.

No one.

We understand his flaws, but unlike others realize the flaws are far outweighed by the positives.

Others are equally flawed, with different strengths and weaknesses. I like Trump and Cruz for very different reasons. I dislike them both for very different reasons.

All in all, Trump is our best candidate, I'm sorry you disagree, but your candidate is not so pure as you think, nor without huge flaws. I just happen to think Trump is the best candidate and would make the best president in this perilous time. There are good reasons for that decision, but way too many Cruz supporters simply hate that. For mostly irrational reasons.

Whoever questions trump is an enemy.

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined."

These words from Patrick Henry succinctly sum up my credo. I apply this to any candidate or officeholder whether my man or the other man's choice.

“It can be. People who call themselves “nationalists, populists, agrarians” tend to be anti-Jewish. American conservatives are very naive.”

Naïve is Jews who see America as being no different that Europe or Russia. We have no history of pogroms here. The only anti jewish feeling here is east coast Boston types and KKK types. Neither of which are nationalist, populist, agrarians.

You will find nothing but love and support for Israel among middle America protestants. A case can be made that they care more about Israel than the average American Jewish person does.

Maybe because both had seen from the start that Mr. Trump would gain traction big time.

....”If one isn’t waving Trump pompoms with sufficient enthusiasm, they’re traitors and fair game for verbal abuse.”......

Like trump the difficult part is being able to sustain a coherant and understood position on issues, so all they have left is verbal abuse just as Trump does.

They've hitched their wagons on his train and fail miserably to see the deception obvious to those who see this election terrain for what it is....they're long gone now and too far from the truth now to accept it as it is.
