The Chairmen of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees sounded a tone of outrage this week at an Obama administration policy that has allowed for the release of at least three criminal aliens charged with drunk driving and implicated in the murder and severe injury of Americans this year.
“This careless policy is a clear and unmistakable message to the American people that this Administration has decided that their safety and security are far less important than ensuring that illegally present aliens with no regard for the law will remain in this country without any legal consequences whatsoever,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) wrote in a blistering letter Wednesday to Department of Homeland Sec. Jeh Johnson.
The Chairmen’s expressed anger comes in the wake of two separate incidents in which ICE either released or refused to detain deportable aliens charged with drunk driving crimes that injured and killed bystanders and one incident in which ICE released an illegal immigrant convicted of drunk driving who went on to allegedly commit murder.

Illegals Kill over 30 fellow citizens every day. Grassley has had his head up his ass a long time.
We had a local San Jose gal killed, a “boyfriend” and his illegal buddy shot and dumped her like refuse.
Every day innocent citizens are dying at the hands of aided and abetted invaders.
And they wonder why Trump’s Wall would make a difference?
Instead of standing dpwn, Obammy should be arming up the borders.. Or impeached for not doing so.
This is about as good as it gets from the GOPe. Feigned outrage. Especially during an election season. Hey Bob, if you are so outraged, why haven’t you done any about it? If I recall, Republicans folded like a cheap suit and funded Obama’s actions. They are just as guilty as Obama in my book.
Who cares Rubio, Cruz and Romney are ok with it
I don’t think that is anywhere near a complete list. I don’t completely trust Cruz, nor any Senator or Republican, but I’d probably trust him more than the others.
Queen Putt and the DemonRatz see this as a Win-Win. The Illegal Invaders will vote DemonRat and the DEAD American Citizens will also now vote DemonRat.
My cousin & her husband were killed by a drunk illegal
Mexican several years ago. They were hard working decent
citizens with small children. Illegal was driving drunk
and ran a stop sign. I guess Obama’s probably let him
loose again to do it again. Obama’s an ass.
That’s terrible. What happened to the orphaned child?
It was multiple children who were orphaned. - There was
plenty of extended family - sisters, grandparents, brothers,
left to take care of them. - My immediate family had been
cut off from that family due to a rancorous divorce,
remarriages, and living long distances from each other for
a long time. An old familiar story these days. - I don’t
know if the illegal has been up for parole yet; but there
are family members left who will be present for any hearings, so he may still be in prison. - The parents
killed in the wreck were decent, hard-working, church-going
people & a loss to the community.
“A careless policy” should read:
A DELIBERATE policy”
