Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is the presidential candidate who is responsible for President Barack Obama – unwilling to take on the President, or things like his ties to radical Rev. Jeremiah Wright and domestic terrorist Bill Ayres.
Obama, being from the Chicago school of politics, wasn't as polite. He exposed Romney as a "vulture capitalist" who made a fortune off of buying companies, laying-off employees, and selling the companies in pieces. By the end of the campaign, Romney's questionable business practices were known by every voter.
Now, Romney is attacking conservative businessman Donald J. Trump. Because Trump is self-funding his campaign, the GOP establishment and political class can't control him. And that makes Romney angry!
Romney's full speech was leaked, and included shameless and untrue attacks, such as:
Donald Trump says he admires Vladimir Putin, while has called George W Bush a liar. That is a twisted example of evil trumping good.

Here's what I know. Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He's playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.
His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president. And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.
But in one tweet, Donald Trump's son Eric embarrassed Romney in a huge way. This says everything you need to know!
Eric shared a video of then-candidate Romney excited to be endorsed by Trump during the Presidential campaign. Romney knew his campaign was in trouble, and was aware that Trump represents the conservative base that wasn’t excited to vote for Romney.
When things were tough for the Republican Party, Trump took time away from his business to campaign and fundraise for Mitt Romney. He’s a team player.
Now, Mitt Romney has shamelessly stabbed his fellow Republican in the back. In doing so, Romney reminded the conservative base exactly what he thinks of them.

Cruz is in the game to split electoral votes, period. He’ll cut a deal.
Romeny had the election in his back pocket with all the treasonous acts that were happening leading up to the 2012 election. Heck, only months before was Benghazi and that and that alone should have been enough to seal the deal and Mitt gave Obama and Hilary a pass on that. I remember as it was happening Obama didn’t want to comment on it, Romeny didn’t want to comment on it, but Sarah Palin was quick to call a spade a spade. Romeny is weak and nobody will ever take him seriously.

Romney said Republican primary voters should vote tactically in different states, that tactical plan includes Cruz. Is he complicit in Romney’s sleeze?
More importantly, look behind the thin veneer of Cruz. You might be surprised.
Cruz is setting himself up to cut a deal, one that benefits Cruz. Count on it.
Mitt is simply the mouthpiece of the elites of the Republican Party. What this speech showed me is how wide the rift has become between the elites and Republican voters. The Republican Party has failed to fulfill promises and once given power, joined the opposition in raiding the public treasury. Voters, especially conservatives, are mad and in justifiable revolt against the party of false promises. If the elites don’t get on board with their base, I predict the end of the Republican Party and the founding of a new party.
McCain and Linda Graham were the same way. Tough on conservatives but buddies with liberal Democrats.
Where are the ex-FR ‘Mittens’ hanging out these days?
I’d like to see their reaction.

Well, er, not for Romney doing this but Trump did say he admired Putin and did attack George W. Bush. Probably called him a liar.
Liar is the favorite word of Trump and all the little Trumps.

I need to post a disclaimer which may or may not protect me from brutal attacks by little trumps. I will vote for trump if he is the nominee.
Nevertheless, much of what Romney said was absolutely true.
Little trumps have to spend most of their time here defending Trump for stuff he says or does.
By choosing this carnival barker over a good conservative, tried and true, they are selling their birthright for a mess of pottage.
They are chipping away at their own standards.
Most of the trump defenses consist... not of saying trump didn’t do it ... whatever the it is ... but of saying
He may have done it but it’s okay because...
or
Everybody does it.
Or, you’ve got to do it to be a business success,
Or, okay he did it but it was a long time ago.
Or, okay he said that but he has changed.
News for you little trumps. He has not changed and he won’t change if you elect him.
But what about your birthright? Can you get it back?
He used it up against Newt Gingrich in the 2012 Florida primary campaign.

What Romney said was totally true.
Every word of it.
The little trumps cannot refute one thing he said.
They can only attack Romney.
I’m not happy about Romney’s remarks. He has no particular status to make them.
But that does not make them untrue.
