A top aide to White House hopeful Donald Trump on Thursday thanked Mitt Romney after the 2012 Republican presidential nominee blasted the current GOP front-runner.
Dan Scavino, a senior Trump adviser, tweeted that the former Massachusetts governor had delivered "an incredible endorsement" for Trump.
Many political observers say Romney's address could play into Trump's hand, given Romney's status in the GOP establishment and Trump's campaign as a political outsider.

Trump may not be perfect but he is LESS of a con man than most politicians. He speaks his mind instead of the babble to get elected by everyone else.
The GOP is scared of him because it won’t be business like usual when Trump is elected. Laws may actually be enforced. Medicare fraud of as estimated 40% of payouts may quit fast. The world will see the USA has balls again.

As you said I am a threat to your party....an establishment that has taken over control of the Republican party....one that is in bed with corporate america to let illegal flows in unchecked. One that is all for sending all America jobs to Mexico and China. One that is responsible for conspiring to give us Obamacare. And Romney will go on every network and cable show to do more Trump ads.

I wouldn’t vote for the country club blow-hard Romeny if he was running against Hillary AFTER she was convicted of treason.
The Facebook audience appeared to agree. Think of that as a giant focus group and alarm bells had better be going off in the Romney camp, if a camp it is. If the GOPe can't sweet-talk Cruz into cooperation this one is a non-starter, because Romney is no more credible a candidate than Harold Stassen is.
