After President Jeb, President Walker, President Christie, President Kasich, President Ryan, and President Rubio, the Republican establishment is now turning once again to the Adlai Stevenson of the GOP Willard Mitt Romney.
Perhaps nothing is more symptomatic of the GOP establishments death drive than their continued embrace of the presidential aspirations of a man who shrank the party in 2012.
But then, these are the same Republican elites who are determined to grant amnesty to 40 million future Democrats. So, obviously party expansion and broad national victories are not their priorities. How else do you explain their bizarre desire to board the S.S. Mittanic one more time?

Trump is a flawed man no doubt but he’s our monkey wrench thrown into DC against the GOPee and the RemRats alliance.
The nation is already in deep dog brown Mittens with your beloved GOPee’s helping it to further decline. We are supposed to be alarmed by Trump? See ya Mitt you moron mannequin mormon.
I'm with you - never again.
I’m not sure where we go from here - but the GOPe is NOT the path we should be taking.
Mittens is the GOP Moses handing down the Commandment:
No Trump!
The people who run the GOP are beyond parody.
No one with a brain voted for him.
People on here rounded on me when I said I didn’t vote for him four years ago.
Now they understand why. Mittens was in this for himself and not for us.
Americans are not completely senseless.
Well, yeah. If you don’t spend time on Twitter, look at it. The idiot NRO crowd, Jonah Goldberg, Guy Benson, Charles Cooke, etc. write at least ONE COLUMN PER DAY EACH dissing Trump. These guys today “claim” to support Cruz-—but none of them did so before it was clear Trump would sin. They REALLY support (and have always supported) Mittens.
Mittens IS the GOPe. It needs to be completely and totally razed.
BTTT
Good let em die once and for all....the country club wing of the democrat party needs to be wiped out
the GOP is already dead and just doesn’t know it yet.
2/3 of all primary voters rejected the GOPe candidates.
>>I am not sure of the solution, but I clearly see the problem.<<
There are FOUR solutions:
#1. Soap box - which we do here every day. If the power brokers refuse to get the message, there is
#2. Ballot box - come July at the convention, we will be heard. Again come November, we will be heard. Should that be voice be silenced, we will use
#3. Jury box - not much hope here, with people like little Johnny Roberts and his puppet masters. They will force us to open box
#4. Cartridge box - the elites are not even stupid enough to think they can win when this box opens.
I think that since we are dealing with POWER BROKERS, who are not elected. We have to go to step 4. If you refuse the will of the people, you foster Tyranny, and then we will form a Militia and eliminate you....er...once we know who you are...that is.
agree with entire article! Trump is mostly (80%) conservative, nationalist populist and I am the same. When all the math is done Donald Trump is more conservative than 90% of elected GOP Reps and Senators in DC
What have all those reps and sens done for us exactly anyhow? They all seem to be feeding at the trough like a herd of swine while we're out here trying to make ends meet. I think a quote from Malcolm Tucker is in order about now...
I thought we were done with this MF but he is like effin Dracula.
He better pray to KOLOB that Trump doesn’t become President because if he does, the MORMON MELCHIDEZEK BISHOP is going to wish he was never born.
If a "non-Establishment" or "anti-Establishment" candidate is nominated, you know the Establishment will be ready when that candidate stumbles.
It may have more to do with a feeling that Trump will be bad for the financial markets and not so good for the economy.
Yeh I loved watching a corporate raider accuse Trump of destroying small business and laying people off.
