Mittens: GOP Establishment Chooses Mount Romney as Hill to Die on
Breitbart ^ | March 3, 2016 | Stephen K. Bannon and Rebecca Mansour

Posted on 03/03/2016 8:10:39 AM PST by C19fan

After President Jeb, President Walker, President Christie, President Kasich, President Ryan, and President Rubio, the Republican establishment is now turning once again to the Adlai Stevenson of the GOP – Willard Mitt Romney.

Perhaps nothing is more symptomatic of the GOP establishment’s death drive than their continued embrace of the presidential aspirations of a man who shrank the party in 2012.

But then, these are the same Republican elites who are determined to grant amnesty to 40 million future Democrats. So, obviously party expansion and broad national victories are not their priorities. How else do you explain their bizarre desire to board the S.S. Mittanic one more time?

Romney is known as the “pump and dump” king of business. Looting the equity of formerly viable companies would be more accurate. His chinese and mexican corporate customers thank him though for selling them all of those companies for rock bottom prices. Romney and his ilk are the reason why china is running circles around us when it comes to technology and innovation.

“Hell will freeze over before I would vote for a GOPe...”

Ditto. In previous elections, it’s been “oh, well.. we have to vote for this jerk because the alternative is a worse jerk...”

NO MORE. NEVER AGAIN.

The GOP-e is CLEARLY no different from the democrats - maybe even worse (I can’t imagine the democrats trying to knock off their own front-runner!!!!). I will never, ever, ever vote for any of those clowns again.

Right now, the GOPe reminds me of a dumb kid at the zoo looking into the gorilla pit, and the voters are the gorilla, laughing inside as he lines up the punk for a gooey face-shot with a fist full of poop...

LMAO!

Unearthing this has been establishment loser is analogous to the GOP trying to clean a mirror with a greasy rag, unless of course their ploy is to just set the stage for massive vote fraud. It’s hard to prove and demonstrably, it never fails.

Agreed, I thought at the time, and remember now, how strange it was that Romney seemingly stopped running 2 months before the end.

I conclude now, that he was never supposed to win, the fix was in, and he was a spoiler. Not for the Republicans or the Democrats, but for the power brokers in Washington, to forward their agenda.

Today, the will of the people is being stated boldly, and yet the Power Brokers of Washington AGAIN are stating, that regardless of the will of the NATION, they, not you, will determine who will be POTUS. I am not sure of the solution, but I clearly see the problem.

Look, Romney would have been far better for the country than Obama. In 2012 Trump recognized this and threw his support in and endorsed Romney. Romney was grateful for it and thanked him in glowing terms.

I believe it is very distasteful and low down for Romney to now turn on Trump in this fashion. Trump is the same man he was in 2012. Romney wanted and appreciated his support then.

If Romney has a true issue with Trump, then decency would say that he would meet with Trump personally and work it out.

But he is not...he is going to attack Trump as if though Trump’s endorsement of him, and the fine things Romney himself said about Trump mean nothing.

This is a bad thing. Quite frankly for me, it is a disappointing because it would indicate that Romney himself is one of those politicians who takes the rest of us for fools and believes that we cannot, or will not, remember what he said and did in the past.

There is no honor or integrity in what Romney plans to do today. This is not how you return favors. This is not how you unite the party.

As I say...he should have gotten together personally with Trump and worked it out...and I believe trump would have made the time for him.

But the people themselves, irrespective of Romney, irrespective of Rubio, the GOPe, the MSMS, HIllary, HArry Reid, etc., etc. are the ones who are going to make this decision.

...and they are voting in droves.

I am a Cruz supporter and will support him until he either wins (looking less and less likely) or he bows out.

If Trump wins the nomination, I will support him 100%.

The end game here is defeating the unbelievable corrupt Hillary who promises to double down on Obama policies, or the communist, Bernie Sanders.

We unite the GOP by coming together and doing that with the nominee our own people elect.

That’s pretty plan and simple. That’s very straight forward.

What Romney and the GOPe are doing is underhanded on its face. Once more the establishment is telling us that they know better than we do.

We’ve had enough of that song and dance.

Yup. Mitt made money by financial engineering.

Trump should grab that idea and run it into the ground reminding voters that it is Romney and his job destroying tactics that the GOPe admires, loves and why they put him up as their spokesperson.

Trump should clarify a lot of stuff tonight on the debate. Get rid of his ad hominem and ad mulierum attacks and the playground nani nanis and go for the juglar on both the other GOP candidates policies and acts and the Dems too. Get an early start on Hillary and Benghazi.

This is a war for our country, its founding principles and its soul. Please play dignified hardball Mr. Trump.

“The man who ran for president for 6 years through two cycles and still couldn’t close the deal.”

Against a failed president, no less. I believe the fix was in. He clobbered Zero in the first debate, then someone put the screws to him. The race was thrown to Obama. Of this I have no doubt.

Romney Establishment rising today to speak against TRUMP proves that without TRUMP, the Establishment was going to do it to us agains... what they always do, to run the base candidate off and inject the Establishment candidate in his/her place.

Two things happened.

TRUMP took out Jeb Bush and did it long before Florida, which always signals the end of us and the beginning of the Establishment anointing their candidate, releasing cascade of billions of dollars and lining up the endorsement announcements. GAME OVER.

TRUMP is smoking the competition in Florida. The Establishment clock is still running and it is now or never for them to show us that we don’t get to choose our nominee.

Those two things have changed the chess pieces. We can either let them run us, or we can stand and fight!

It WILL be Trump or else, or Hillary wins. Delegates will leave the Convention with TRUMP if a coup is attempted and another candidate replaces him.

The GOPe is so conditioned to “losing” politically that even when their self-preservation is at risk, they make unbelievable stupid decisions. Maybe the democRATS told them it is time to pull the plug on the political equivalent of Washington Generals basketball team.

These GOPe is going to fail in this foolish effort.

The people are already aroused and turning out in droves to vote out any GOPe candidate.

This will only further galvanize those feelings.

Yes...it will cause some GOPe voters to stand firm with the GOPe...but it will draw10x those numbers to the fire to vote them out.

Trump is going to be helped by this...not hurt...and they cannot figure out why. it is because they have blinders on and believe their own BS delusion.

The same thing is going to happen in the general with the MSM and the DNC. They do not get it either.

I believe we are going to see a landslide in November...and this is what they are REALLY scared of.

Trump has tapped into the energy of the people’s frustration and dissatisfaction of being lied to for decades.

As with Andrew Jackson, Trump is going to go to Washington DC with a mandate to “route the vipers out!”

This is to set up Mitt to be named the candidate if there is a brokered convention. Nothing more, nothing less.
