I can relate to that. I was never a big Trump fan (but I didn't hate him like so many) but he seems to be making all the right enemies. The more the GOPe and other insiders attack him the more favorable he becomes to me. While I am still a Cruz man, I wouldn't hesitate to support the Donald if he gets the nod.
Kennedy in on the radio show now, just whaled on Romney. So funny....
If elected I still believe Trump will turn on the conservative base in many instances, and while I remain a steadfast Cruz supporter, I understand you have to pick your battles. If Trump get the nomination the main battle is to then break the back of the GOPe.
The GOPe is part of the Washington cartel. The GOPe are the donor class, who back the elected class, who repeat all the right conservative phrases at election time and then cut every backroom deal to thwart conservative values. In nearly 8 years what policy of Obama has the GOPe stopped? In 8 years, what has the GOPe prevented Obama from obtaining. The answer to both these questions is -- nothing.
The GOPe has played the base for fools year after year.
Ever notice that the GOPe consistently put up a candidate who was a solid member of the GOPe and then added a Conservative as window dressing? Let's look at the facts:
GOPe - George H.W. Bush / Conservative - Dan Quayle
GOPe - Bob Dole / Conservative - Jack Kemp
GOPe - George W. Bush / Conservative - Dick Cheney
GOPe - Juan McCain / Conservative - Sarah Palin
GOPe - Mitt Romney / Alleged at the time Conservative - Paul Ryan
See the pattern here?
‘I was never a big Trump fan (but I didn’t hate him like so many) but he seems to be making all the right enemies.’
Exactly.
Primaries are about deception. It has a thick ‘fog of war’. When a general does not know what to do, he has two choices: approach the sound of gunfire or avoid it. When in doubt, a good general approaches the sound. That’s where the battle is.
