The story at the top of Breaking News now is legit. None of these other ones are and you know that.
Me: It is parked right next to the attacks against Hillary Clinton, gathering dust in the back parking lot.
The GOPe has fallen in love with leading congress - everyone’s wife, concubine and third cousin has a job working for some government agency or lobbyist. They've figured out that the American people likes a divided government.
They correctly assume that if they win the White House, they'll be held accountable for what they do with full control of both branches of government.
They are fighting for their family's economic future of embezzling money from the public.
Thanks..that needed to be said.
I think the old standby definitions of who votes for which party have been blown away in this campaign. I think people recognize that Im not a partisan Republicanthat Im someone who is moderate, and that my views are progressive.
-Mitt Romney (2002)
Romney’s speech was weak. Although if he had done this against Obama, perhaps he would be President Obama...but doubt it. It was a ridiculous speech. Won’t change a thing.
A Pox on all the GOPers that buy this drivel.
and this from “educated’ and informed leaders.
A pox on all of them who hate this nation and its foundation as a Republic, not a fiefdom.
For the umpteenth time the GOPe will simply add and solidify support for Trump. They don’t get it. By parading out a major league LOSER, they have reinforced the disgust of millions. The speech today will be the nail in the GOP coffin.
It glaringly clear that the GOPe prefers to soundly lose this election but stay on the Uniparty gravy train rather than win the election with Trump or Cruz and lose their heavy-handed control.
Hauling Romney out of moth-balls only reminds voters of the sham national campaigns they run.
Why are you convinced that those 3 million new voters are going to stay in the party?
The political spectrum within my circle of political interaction is pretty broad. The only new Republican voters I have conversed with are Democrats. I have not interacted with a single conservative who hasn’t voted Republican consistently. I have not conversed with a libertarian who hasn’t voted at least once for a Republican presidential candidate.
I participated in Operation Chaos in 2008 to vote for Hillary against Obama in the Texas primary because McCain had already clinched the nomination. I was elected as a delegate at my precinct to caucus for Hillary at the district caucus. During that process, I met lots of libtards, quite a few of whom still keep in contact with me to discuss politics. Some of them are now Trump supporters, but they are not conservatives and will not stay in the Republican party.
I also know several libtards who have never, ever voted in a presidential election and are in their late 30’s and early 40’s. They love the Big Dawg. No, they worship him. Hillary? They can’t stand her. So they voted - for the first time in their lives - for Trump. They’re not conservative and won’t stay in the Republican party.
And I don’t want any of them to stay in the party because their values and their input into the party platform will move the party to the left. There was a proposition on my ballot regarding mandatory union dues:
“Texas should prohibit governmental entities from collecting dues for labor unions through deductions from public employee paychecks.”
Guess how those libtards voting in the Republican primary voted on that one? And on asserting states’ rights? And on penalizing sanctuary cities?
