This is ridiculous. If he thinks (as I do) that the Republican Party should nominate someone other than Trump, he should vote in the Republican primary, for someone other than Trump. That's what primaries are for!

I also think it's somewhat unethical for a committed Republican (which he says he is) to vote in the Democrat primary. Crossover voting really is wrong; each party should be able to nominate whoever its actual party members select, without strategic interference from people who really want nothing to do with that party.

“I would have voted for Bernie if my state had an open primary. Just like I would have voted for Al Sharpton in a primary.”

In 1984 I voted for Jesse Jackson in a democratic primary

Not really.
Trumps win is because the treachery, incompetence, and indolence of the Republican leadership, the “GOP-E.”
They have so discredited themselves and the Republican Party, that a pro-amnesty, pro-abortion, pro-single payer, pro-gun control, and pro-imminent domain Democrat can win over a huge portion of the Republican constituency by simply sounding tough.

“I want political parties to nominate candidates who have serious principles and some measure of integrity.”

We’ve been electing these people for 30 years. Where have their “principles” got us?

You voted for Bernie in the primary, I voted for a douche-nozzle GOPe candidate for the last 7 general elections, does it really matter?

As a free-market, strong-defense, Reaganite conservative,

Yep, you are definitely the type of voter that would certainly vote for Bernie. Jeff Jacoby is another fraud.

Well I think it really doesn't matter who he voted for. He made it clear, that neither Hillary Rodham Clinton will get his vote in November

I have never voted in the primaries for the candidate that won the election, unless the candidate ran for reelection. President Reagan was one. I voted for him in the general election in 1980 and in his reelection in 1984 I voted for him in both the primary and General election.

The other one was President George W. Bush. I did not vote for him in the primary but in the general election in 2000, and in his reelection I voted for him in both the primary and the general election

The worst of it is that so-called Conservative talk radio (Levin, Beck , Limbaugh) are comparing Cruz to the Second Coming of Reagan ...they are crazy , devious , and disgusting

understand where he’s coming from. We both dislike Hillary more than we like any of the Republicans, and Bernie will probably be easier to beat in November than Hillary.>>>> you are the only one besides me that understands. I will vote for bernie in the primary here in philly. the republican will be choosen by the time we vote. I voted against obama 3 times.
