For decades, the editorial page of The New York Times has served as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party. But in a sign of the lefts panic over Donald Trump, the Times has moved beyond pushing an agenda to becoming a political hack, dirty tricks and all.
Thats the only reasonable conclusion to draw from the fishy aftermath of a Trump meeting with the edit board. The meeting happened in early January, but only on the eve of Super Tuesday did word spread about something the leading Republican candidate supposedly said in an off-the-record segment.
Buzzfeed suggested that an audiotape reveals Trump secretly walking back some of his most forceful immigration positions. The online news outlet reported that the recording has reached near-mythical status at the Times and that some people there believe the contents could deal a serious blow to Trump if they were made public.

Yes, who allowed “ethics” in the title with NYT???
Again, you post like the foreign born longtime poster who recently got zotted.
“No, nice try? What does that even mean?
What did I say that isnt true?”
Sorry I didn’t mean to mention ethics and Ted Cruz in the same thread. I know that’s a sensitive area.
The press, particularly the NYT, has gotten so bad I must fact check ALL of their assertions.
Trumpkins?
FU
HOWEVER, you just made up an assertion I never made.
Altura... does that mean New York Times in a foreign tongue?
Amen
74% of voters said they wouldn’t be satisfied if Trump is the nominee.
Your response shows why Trump loves “the least educated.” Make America great again by having more and more dumb fools like you.

So what the NYT did was wrong, but Trump telling them that his real policies about illegal immigration are not what he is telling the voters isn’t?
Trump is the one who is a sleazy liar.
Trump complaining about anyone else’s ethics is laughable.
Me, too. How can you abandon something you never had?
As far as this tape thing goes I believe that there either is no tape or if it does exist, whatever is on it is of no consequence. As much as people hate Trump most will admit he is not particularly stupid. I have a problem taking the word of the NYT very seriously on anything.
The New York Times? Ethics? Walter Duranty could not be reached for comment.
Shove your insults up your ass Steelfish.
BSEE, MSES
Assuming there’s a tape, what will those that support Trump do if it does turn out that Trump is giving an interview that doesn’t jive with what he’s campaigning on now?
Right now, none of us know but too many of his supporters are too eager to just dismiss
More morons, and we’ll make America Great Again.
Trumpkins are like monkeys who respond to Trump’s dogwhistles.
That does not compute.
NYTs? Ethics? There goes the Milk shooting through my nose!
Ethics and NYT in the same sentence doesn’t compute.

Glenn Beck called anyone supporting Gingrich over Romney in 2012 a “racist.” In July 2014, when Beck, with Cruz in tow, handed out teddy bears and soccer balls to illegal invaders, he called anyone who objected “racist.” In Sept 2015, he called Trump and his supporters “racist” and in Feb 2016, he called Trump supporters “brownshirts.”
Beck lost his ethics years ago, when he decided to adopt the left-wing tactics of calling anyone who disagrees with him “racist” or “Nazi”.
