Republican Gov. Dennis Daugaard shocked conservatives Tuesday when he vetoed legislation that would have prohibited students in South Dakota public schools from using opposite-sex restrooms, locker rooms and shower facilities.
The decision is a boon for transgender advocates who lobbied the governor to reject the bill, arguing it was discriminatory and would have harmed the emotional well-being of transgender students.
Proponents of the legislation contended it’s inappropriate to have adolescent boys and girls showering and changing in the same room.
“Do you feel it appropriate for a 13-year-old girl to be exposed to the anatomy of a boy? Or for a boy to be exposed to the anatomy of a girl because of the decisions we make out here?”...

A paradigm shift is needed.
This is an age in which real, gritty, grass roots gospel can mean something in the face of state failure without losing a bundle of accustomed freedoms.
George Washington could have warned us about what would happen when our faith practice went to pot. Either we restore the faith (which is always possible, but God won’t do it without our consent) or else we find ourselves having to fall back on something that looks like a kingdom.

But the Senate and House PASSED a proper bill. The numbers represented by those representatives of the people exceed a majority of that state.
God would have spared Sodom if only 10 righteous could have been found. I PERSONALLY know of 4 in South Dakota right now. But the numbers to have elected that House and Senate represent far more than 10.
I might add also,very unwise.
And our modern understanding of that mode is gospel.
These semi-gospel, semi-state arrangements are the most difficult to keep together. Ever since the church did that in about 300 AD, it’s gotten into war after war.
I feel frustrated as a born again Christian who’s actually watched Jesus work miracles against demons that had been plaguing me. I’m sitting by a chest of gold treasure, trying to pass it out, and folks are asking me for smokes and chocolate bars.
Righteousness may involve Caesar not pretending to do churchy things any more. It may not be what you think. Communities that want that kind of sin, need the freedom to be able to have it. Not all will.

Truer words have never been spoken. It is a label. Fast becoming an antiquated one IMO. If the attached label stands for nothing differing from this other label over here, then by default they are the SAME. If you stand for nothing, you fall for everything. The Republicans in our Federal Legislature and Federal Judiciary have enacted every single bit of Obama's transformative socialist agenda.

Our worldly instinct is to cut down whoever has been giving us trouble. But that just leaves Satan standing there snickering. The gospel answer is not worldly intuitive because it says bless your enemy? Bless? Yes, bless. Not approve of what your enemy had been doing, but by strategically giving, guide your enemy to something that is more in harmony with the will of God than before.
