I’ll third this. 12 years ago, I lost my wife to breast cancer in a very similar fashion to what this Peek lady is going through. I cannot begin to comprehend making a social media event out of it. I just don’t understand it.
Prayers for healing for all families that are torn apart by this terrible disease.

I think it starts with them thinking they can “help” the cause. It seems like a trendy thing to do. I know there is a stage of denial when a person thinks this cannot happen to “them.”
At some point that tide changes, but you are already too far down the rabbit hole.
I cannot imagine sharing anything but the diagnosis, thanking my fans, and disappearing.
