Donald Trump has gained 4 points to reach a new high among Republican votes in a new national poll.
According to a new NBC News | Survey Monkey national weekly tracking poll, the GOP presidential front-runner has the support of 40 percent of registered Republicans.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was able to add 5 points since the last Republican debate, but his 21 percent still sits at roughly half the level of Trump's support.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz received 18 percent in the poll. That's down 1 point from the prior poll, and is the lowest level Cruz has seen so far.

Rubio 21%
Cruz 18%
GO TRUMP!!
He’s peaked!!
Somewhere there is a ceiling for Trump.....Yeah, it’s called The Oval Office
Peak Trump is higher each week lol
Trump’s finished!! /sarc
With Rubio and Cruz added together, it’s 1 point below Trump’s number. And I would venture that half of TC’s supporters will switch to Trump should he drop out, and NOT Rubio.
The other half will endorse and embrace amnesty by voting for Ruboto.
Couple more bad jokes by Rubio and he’ll reach 45%...
But according to the press...
18 + 21 > 40.
Welcome to the common core world.
GO.TRUMP.GO!!!
Nah, he needs the news media snobs to try to do more mud wrestling with him over being a racist
“David Duke Trump David Duke Trump David Duke Trump”
Ordinary people on the street see right through this crap now. The blows keep coming from the right and the left and the Donald takes it and keeps going
Everytime some media whore yells “racist” Trump gets another bump. The perpetually offended dum-dum Juan Williams probably gained him 3 points
Hurrah another liberal in the White House!
1.He thinks affirmative action is okay.
2.He would fund Planned Parenthood except for abortion. (This is current federal policy)
3.He supports a progressive income tax. He does not favor a flat tax.
4.He doesn’t want to cut Social Security or Medicare.
5.He’s in favor of a ban on assault weapons.
6.He supports Universal Healthcare coverage for every American and the “govt. will pay for it”.
7.He doesnt “fully believe in supply-side economics”.
8.He wants to lead “from behind” on Ukraine. Trump believes that Germany should take the lead on Ukraine.
9.He hates the Iran deal, but he wouldn’t abrogate it after taking office.
10. A short 5 years ago he termed the Republican approach to immigration enforcement “mean spirited”.
11.He supports “touchback amnesty”.
12.He has supported/supports such liberal sacred cows as ethanol subsidies, Kelo and govt. bailouts.
Trump 40%
Cruz + Rubio 39%
Let see how things shake out today.
This is directly related to “the establishment” of both R’s and D’s going after him. Its all I see - the media, left-wing newspapers, right-wing newspapers, commentary, politicians - everyone in the establishment is bashing Trump in what looks like a coordinated effort.
I’m guessing people can see through all this propaganda, and its having the effect of boosting his support.
But i thought trump had a 30% ceiling, can it be that Karl Rove was once again full of bs?
So glad people are waking up and refusing to buy into the BS! Go Trump!
GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE....
If people don’t like having Trump as the next POTUS, join the ‘hollywood’ clan and leave, we won’t miss ya!!! Heck, we’ll even help ya pack!!!
Media Headline: TRUMP CRASHES through the 30% barrier now up to 40%.
40% is his ceiling. He can never go higher.
This definitely is his peak.
I’m confident that winning eight or more states today won’t boost his support. Once people see him win Virginia, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee, Vermont, and Alaska (everything but Texas and possibly Arkansas, Minnesota, or Colorado), they will desert him in droves. Voters don’t like winners, do they?
LOL - remember when the MSM was saying than when Trump was at 15%?
Through this entire primary Trump has been working harder than the other candidates. All the squawking by people on the Republican side, especially those who breathlessly say that if he wins the party will not survive are practically begging that people who normally vote Democrat to vote for Trump. If they actually are trying to hurt his chances... they are just plain stupid. They are turning him into a phenomena.
