| And unfortunately, National Review probably has a long life ahead of it in the era of Trump. All the Wall Street and Cheap Labor Express types need a forum to attack Trump and NR will gladly do that for the money. These people still think they are relevant in the social media era. Meanwhile, Trump is going to rule the country from Twitter and he will encourage new media to arrive that will counter the anti-revolutionary voices at NR. But these things will take time to materialize. You must admit, some of these guys have had quite a run, being pundits since the David Brinkley days. But a few good guys still contribute to their on-line edition such as Pat Buchanan. |
