Who this group votes for will show us who they want facing Hillary in the general election.

I really, really doubt this is a change in allegiance. It is a political play to sabotage the republican nomination process.

I was thinking the same. This is reminiscent of Mississippi.

There are a ton of blue-collar dems in Massachusetts that vote D primarily because their union boss orders them to. I wouldn't be surprised if these switches are genuine.

The resultant problem would be the unions really putting the screws on people in November in response to a strong Trump primary win, and people not voting for him in the general as a result. I've talked to union guys who are quite convinced that somehow, someway, the union bigwigs get a list of how members voted, by name...And in Massachusetts, I wouldn't be particularly shocked if they really do.

"I really, really doubt this is a change in allegiance. It is a political play to sabotage the republican nomination process."

I too agree with your thoughts.

How in the heck do 20,000 people do something like this without it being in social media chatter weeks and months before Jan 1 with democrats expressing disenchantment? 20,000 voters times the people they share their thoughts with and nobody picked up on this until after the fact. I don't think so.

Could be.
We’ll find out in November
